As we were all cleaning up the mess from gift opening, I saw Emilyn fall over. she landed on the couch..."SAM!!" She screamed. I ran over to her"are you oka--" she interrupted"i think I'm in labor". " but the baby isn't due yet!". "Just take me to the hospital!" I grabbed the keys and headed to get her. I helped her to the car. We drove off to the hospital. She was rushed into the delivery room. I was taken to the room she was in. I got to see my child enter the world. Emilyn was crying and she looked tired as hell. the baby was brought to us, clean and crying loudly."it's a healthy baby girl."the doctor said. He handed the child to me. I caressed it gently. I kissed her forehead and I swear it looked like she smiled. I attempted to hand the child to Emilyn, but she grasped my pinky finger tightly. I love this... This is just surreal."her name will be... Jane." Emilyn said."I love that." I replied."Jane" I whispered
