An Awkward Dinner

Back at the Mayor's office the phone rang and the secretary answers it. "Mayor's office." The person on the other line tells where what happen shocking her. "What? A train accident?" She asked. "And you report seeing anything unusual....." Kent then stops his meeting and realises what this could mean.

"What do you mean he hit a giant creature? What creature could be big enough to...." She was interrupted when Kent snatches the phone. He listens to the person on the phone. He then turns and points to one of the the Mayor. "I need your car." Outside of City Hall Kent takes the car and drives away.

Back at Hogarth's home where Giant goes in the barn. Hogarth and (Name) watches as the body parts put Giant back together. The jaw bolt hits Hogarth's foot, trying to move pass him. Hogarth lifts his foot for the bolt to continue it's journey. It approaches Giant and he picks it up to his jaw. He moves his jaw then he smiled at the kids.

The kids are amazed. "Wow. You can fix yourself?" (Name) asked. "Neat-o!" The kids then sees Hogarth's mother has come home. "Uh oh, Mom's home. Just stay here, Okay? We'll be back. Bye!" Hogarth closes the barn door. Giant waves. "Bye." He sees his hand is missing. And looks around to see it is not in the barn with him.

Outside at the Train wreck, Kent is talking to the two engineers. "What happened here?" He asked the enbineers. "Go on. Tell him what you saw, Frank." One of the engineers told Frank. Frank looks at Kent for a moment, worry he won't believe him. "You're not gonna believe this. But it was a giant metal man.

Kent stands up and he lights his pipe to smoke. "Does anybody know where I can get to a phone nearby?" One of the engineers points to Hogarth's house.

At the house Annie, Hogarth, and (Name) are having dinner. "Would you say grace please?" Annie asked her son. Hogarth puts down the spoon full of food he was about to eat, and puts his hands together, rolling his eyes. When he about to say grace then he sees the robot's hand in the kitchen.

Where (Name) is sitting at the table, she can't see the Giant's hand. "Oh, my God!" He says to himself, before he sees his mother waiting for him to say grace. His eyes to (Name) for help, but he see she is waiting as well.

Which means he's on his own.

He then gives grace hesitantly. "Uh... O my God...we thank you... for the food, uh...food...that...Mom has put in front of us and...." Giant's hand it about to tip over the boiling water by putting his metal finer in the pot. "STOP!"

Annie and (Name) jump and looks at him, surpise. "Uh the DEVIL! From doing bad things? And uh- GET OUT OF HERE! Uh... Satan! GO!"

Giant's hand leaves the kitchen just before Annie turns her head to look in the kitchen. "Go...so...that we may live in peace. Amen." Hogarth bows his head, taking a breath that he manager to pull it off.

"Amen. That was...hmm...really unusual, Hogarth." His mother told him. Hogarth picks up his head and quickly says. "Forgottowashmyhands." He then leaves the table. "Well, OK."

Annie then looks at (Name). "So how was you're day, (Name)?" She asked her. "It was fun. Hogarth and I made a new friend!" She told her. "Really? What's his name?" She asked. (Name) rubs her wrest nervously, under the table. "Um... Vin.... Diesel? He's a new kid. Really, really shy!"

Hogarth checks the kitchen then he goes in the living room and he sees the Giant's hand watching TV. Hogarth quickly shuts off the TV and he's about to pull it out of the living room but he sees his mom in the kitchen. He talks softly to the hand, pushing it back. "Stop, Stop!" He then pulls it in the hall way. "All right. Come on. Over here."

He stops and looks around the corner to see his mother has return to the dining room. (Name) is playing her fork, not noticing him. Hogarth stays quiet when the hand bumps from behind him and he pushes it away.
