Hogarth and (Name) comes into his bedroom through his open window feeling tired. They takes off their shoes and jacket. Both are about get in their bed/sleeping bag. When Annie opens the door. "You're both up already?" She asked them. "Just making the bed." Hogarth said making his bed, while (Name) zips her sleeping bag closing it again.

"Well, that's nice. Come downstairs. I have a surprise for you." When Annie close the door, (Name) falls face first on her sleeping bag. Wishing she could go to bed.

A tired Hogarth and (Name) comes down stairs with different clothes on. They walks into the dining room, where Kent is reading the newspaper. "Morning children." He puts down the newspaper, revealing himself. "Sleep well?" He asked with a smug smile.

"Mom?" Hogarth called looking at Kent nervously with (Name). "Isn't it wonderful Hogarth? We finally rented our room." Annie told him as she sets two plates down at the table. Hogarth groans in disgust. "I'm not very hungry." He and (Name) walks away, leaving Annie confused and Kent suspicious.

Meanwhile with Dean, he opens the door and see's Gaint's face smiling at him. "Oh yeah." Back at Hogarth's house the phone rang and Hogarth answers it. "Hello, this is Hogarth Hughes speaking. Who's calling please?"

"I said he could stay for the night, kid. But it's morning now." Dean told him as Giant eats the junk outside.Hogarth talks through his clenched-teeth. "Look, we'll try to come over. OK? But there's this weird guy here who's watching us." Kent opens the door and grins at Hogarth. "What? What's that supposed to mean? I got this big, giant... Giant thing out here." Dean told him.

"I can't talk right now, okay? Bye." Hogarth hangs up the phone. "Who was that, sport? Friend of yours?" Kent asked smiling at the young boy. "Yeah. He's a new kid." Dean hangs up the phone and sees Giant outside eating one of metal scraps. "HEY! HEY! STOP! STOP! STOP THAT! STOP IT! He trips on the floor as he try to run outside.

Back at the house (Name) goes downstairs, Kent lean again the wall at the end of the stairs, waiting for her. "Hey, mind if I ask you a few questions, Missy?"

In the living room Kent tries to question Hogarth as he watch TV. "Now, why would you tell your mom about a giant robot Slugger?"

In the kitchen (Name) is trying to eat. When Kent comes in eating a sandwich. "What'd you see at the power station huh?"

As Hogarth walks in the hallway upstairs, Kent comes out of no where. "Tell anyone else Buddy?"

(Name) trying to read a comic book in Hogarth's room, when Kent poops his head in. "How big is this thing, Sunshine?"

Hogarth just got done brashing his teeth, in the bathroom. He closes the mirror cabin to see Kent behind him in the mirror. "Been in the forest lately?"

"Champ?"

"Sweet Pea?"

"Hey, Cowboy?"

"Hello, Princess?"

"Where are you going?"

"Where you going?"

By this time the kids were exasperated with Kent. "WE'RE GOING OUT!" They grab their jacket about to leave when Annie comes out of the dining room. "Why don't you take Mr. Mansley with you? Show him the sights."

"Aww, Mom the sights?" Hogarth said turning to her, practically in pain. "Hey, I'd love that. Give us a chance to get aquainted, swap some stories. Huh children?"

Back at the junkyard, Dean talks to Giant. "There are two kinds of metal in this yard. Scrap and art. If you gotta eat one of them, eat the scrap. What you currently have...." He then yells at Giant angrily. "IN YOUR MOUTH IS ART!!!"

Giant takes the art scrap out of his mouth, looking at it curiously. "Art?" Dean looks at him annoyed. Giant seemingly tries to repair the art scrap.

"Forget it. Forget it!" Dean said turning around. Giant puts down the damaged art scrap on the ground. "It's gone. It's..." Dean notices the readjustment of the art scrap and is amazed. "Hmm, it's not bad."

Downtown, the kids are inside the Pharmacy talking to Kent while having sundaes. "First, you take the chocolate bar. Any bar'll do." Hogarth told him as he makes himself a Landslide. "Oh." (Name) points at Kent's sundae. "Do you mind if I..."

"No, knock yourself out, girly." (Name) grabs his sundae, dragging it in front of her. She crumbles up coca-lax into it as she explains what she's doing. "You crumble up the chocolate into little pieces."

She then stirs the ice cream. "Then you kind of stir it into the ice cream. See?" She pushes the glasses back in front of Kent. "Yes, I see. What do you call this again?" He asked looking at his sundae. "Landslide. It's new. Very new." She drops the coca-lax wrapper into the garbage without Kent looking.

Kent takes a bite of his sundae. "Mmm. Landslide. Topnotch. Mmm." (Name) makes herself a Landslide with a regular chocolate bar. "You know, children, we live in a strange and wondrous time. The Atomic Age. But there's a dark side to progress, children. Ever heard of Sputnik?"

"Yeah, it's the first satellite in space." (Name) answered, remembering how fascinating she was when their teacher told them about it.

"Foreign satellite, (Name), and all that implies. Even now, it orbits overhead." Kent uses his spoon as a demonstration. "Boop! Boop! watching us." He then takes another bite of his sundae. "We can't see it, but it's there. Much like that giant thing in the woods. We don't know what it is or what it can do. I don't feel safe, children do you?"

Hogarth looks at him puzzled. "What are you talking about?" He asked him. "What am I talking about?" Kent then loses patience, and yelled at the kids. "WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT?!" His yelling causing everyone to turn and stare at Kent. Hogarth and (Name) move backwards on the bar stools as Kent slowly begins to corner them.

"I'M TALKING ABOUT YOUR GOLDARNED SECUIRTY, HOGARTH! WHILE YOU'RE SNOOZING IN YOUR WIDDLE JAMMIES, BACK IN WASHINGTON WE'RE WIDE AWAKE AND WORRIED! WHY? BECAUSE EVERYONE WANTS WHAT WE HAVE KIDS! EVERYONE! YOU THINK THIS METAL MAN IS FUN? BUT WHO BUILT IT? THE RUSSIANS? THE CHINESE? MARTIANS? CANADIANS? I DON'T CARE! ALL I KNOW IS WE DIDN'T BUILD IT, AND THAT'S REASON ENOUGH TO ASSUME THE WORST AND BLOW IT TO KINGDOM COME!"

Hogarth then reaches the last stool, he bangs his head on the wall when he try to keep backing away. (Name) then backs into him, slipping on the stool she's on. The back of her head falls back on Hogarth's chest.

Kent leans over them keeping them from trying to get out of this awkward position. He pokes (Name) on her chest when he finishes every sentences. "NOW, YOU TWO ARE GOING TO TELL ME ABOUT THIS THING, YOU ARE GOING TO LEAD ME TO IT, AND WE ARE GOING TO DESTROY IT BEFORE IT DESTROYS US!"

Suddenly, Kent's stomach begins to gurgle, causing his glare to fade away and his eyes to widen. "Just hold that thought and stay right there! Uh-oh!" He rushes to the bathroom. As soon as he's gone the kids left the Pharmacy.
