You'll see a snake in the grass
When you find you have lost your faith.
It will promise you sweet things
And show you a path on which you could walk.
It will say your life will be easy-going from here-on-out
But remember the path to Hell is paved with empty promises.
And what would life be without a few challenges?
When you face the snake
Turn to God, He'll reastore your faith and show you the right path to walk.
But you must have trust and faith in God
He needs to know that he can trust you.
Only then wil he lead you away from the snake.
