In utter fear, you punch the person.

"Ouch babe that hurts" the man whined. The man buried his face into his palms

"Who are you?"

"Are you kidding me." The man shifted his eyes onto you. "Excuse me? Who are you?" That's when you saw his face.

"That's what I asked dumbass. Who are you?"

You heard footsteps. "I think the family members are back." The man grabbed your arm. "Come with me. In the closet." The closet was too tight for two people.  Your head was resting on his chest. "You better not be a criminal."

"If I am?"

"I will dibidiba whoop your ass"

The man giggled. You could hear your mom searching for you. "Hae (Mani's mother) have you seen Y/n?"

"She must be in the bathroom." Your mom denied. "I can't find Sofi also."

"Don't worry. I think they went outside. Sofi loves playing."

"Maybe you are right? Are you done with your work. I want to buy new clothes."

Your mom with your aunt left the house.

You thought to yourself. "This man could have done anything bad to me. He has whole opportunity . Why he is neither attacking me. Definitely he is not a criminal. Then who is he?"

You could feel the man's breath against your neck. The man was beautifully unbelievable.

"Excuse me sir. Can you remove your hands from my waist." The man slid down his hands.

"I think there is no one." The man bent over. Both of you released from the tiny space.

You shoved the nearby vase in your hand. "Care to explain who are you."

The man forwarded his hand. "Hi. My name is Kai. I am Mani's boyfriend."

You "OHHED" in response. "Nice to meet you. I am Y/n, Mani's cousin."

You tapped the vase on Kai's head. "What took you so long to tell me?"

"Chill shawty chill. I would have told you at the moment if the family members didn't spring up."

You rolled your eyes. "Are you hungry?"

"Yeah a little bit. Honestly my stomach is crashing down. I will faint if you won't feed me."

You brought chips for Kai from the kitchen. "For how long you have been together."

"Four years"

"I will bring a glass of water." Your foot slipped on one of Sofi's toy and the water splashed on Kai's clothes. "Wooho girl are you kidding me!!"

" I am so sorry. I will dry it." You step forwarding but slips on the water. And fall on Kai onto the sofa. Your eyes lock deep. Kai pulls your face.

It was a small peck. He again kissed lightly on your lips. You stood up abruptly feeling it was not good. You both were fidgeting. "I am going to washroom." Kai said. "You wanna join. I mean if you want to use, you can come along."

"No thank you" You waited for Kai to come back.

"Y/nnnnn" Mani entered the house with open wide arms holding shopping bags. "I have gifts for you." You were shook. "Oh my god. Why unnie?"

"There is no reason. Open them I want to see your live reaction."

"Sure I will. Before that I want to go to washroom. I will be back in a minute."

The washroom was empty. Kai was no where to be found. You returned to Mani.

"Mani I want to ask you something. This might be personal."

Mani smiled "What's it"

"Do you have a.."

"Wait, where is Sofi?" Your feet became cold because you had no idea about it. "He was playing with me. I got tired and jumped in for a shower but he didn't stop."

"Okay Y/n but where did he go?"

"I think Man, he must be outside"

You both searched the lawn, finding Sofi. Sofi was in the neighbor's lawn across the road playing with another dog. Mani called out Sofi. he became excited seeing Mani. Bouncing on his legs Sofi rushed in your direction. Unfortunately a car on its full speed was passing by.

"Sofi stop. Don't come. Stop."

Sofi didn't stop. He was in his own world. To save Sofi you jumped in front of car, curdled him in arms. The driver tried to dodge you. The car hit you on your back. The back wheel of the car went over your leg.
