It started out like a normal fall day for Augustine, he was walking home from school when he saw a creepy old man walk into the woods, Augustine started to follow the old man until the man stopped at an old house, the man turned around and saw augustine. He looked him in the eyes and started walking towards augustine. Augustine got scared and started running back to the road and kept running til he got home. The old man followed him all the way there and stayed till Augustine came out.
Augustine never left the house that night, and the old man waited till nightfall and left. Augustine woke up the next morning and looked outside to see the old man was gone. Augustine was relieved and got ready for school. When he got to school he realized that one of his friends, Isaiah, wasn't there, Augustine was concerned because Isaiah was always at school. Augustine started to think about the house the old man was going to last night. He remembered seeing a small cabin in the backyard of it. He was thinking the old man probably had something to do with this, but Augustine went along with his day and just ignored it.
It was the next day and Augustine noticed that another one of his friends ryan was missing too, but it was a girl this time. Augustine texted her and all she said back was dark cabin. Augustine thought about the cabin he saw again. He thought about how dark it was and the size. He texted her again and she said help, idk where i am, but there's this old guy torturing isaiah. Come quick. Augustine felt scared. What if his best friend Mikayla was next. He tried to find her befores he went to where the old man was. But she wasn't there. Crap, I'm too late. I have to go find them before something really bad happens to them.
Augustine got out of school and went straight to the old man's cabin, he saw the old man holding the girls by the arms. He dragged them into the woods as they were screaming for augustine. Augustine looked around and saw Isaiah on the ground. He went up to him and asked if he was ok. Isaiah said he was fine but they needed to get the girls back, Augustine helped Isaiah up and they started running after the old man. After a while, Augustine and Isaiah made it to a big maze in the middle of the woods. Augustine and Isaiah looked around and saw a blood trail and decided to follow it.
They followed the trail till they realized it wasn't the one the girls were on, Augustine and Isaiah were scared, they looked behind them and saw a door was closing. They tried running out but didn't make it. They looked around then the doors started to open again. The old man was standing there with the girls in his hands but they aren't screaming anymore. Augustine and Isaiah were confused, the old man let the girls go and pushed them in with the boys. He told them to stay here or else. The girls got off the ground and stood in the corner of the dark room they were trapped in. the boys turned around and asked what the old man did to them. Mikayla and Ryan both looked at eachother and looked back at Augustine and isaiah. They said he poked us with a few needles to get blood and made the trail u guys followed, then picked us up so we wouldn't leave anymore blood, and now we are here. That's all he did
Augustine was still confused but didn't care about it anymore all he thought was how they were gonna get out. He turned to Isaiah and said we need to get out of here before something bad happens to us.'' Isaiah said no he said that if we leave something will happen. So i'm staying. Mikayla came up and slapped them both and said stop talking and start finding a way out. Isaiah was impressed but didn't want to say anything to make her slap him again. Ryam started laughing because of augustine's face. Mikayla looked over at him and he covered his face. Augustine was blushing bright red. But didn't want Mikayla to see. Once he was one blushing, Isaiah told him to help plan what they were going to do. They thought of 2 different ways of getting out of the room. 1. All of them push the door open 2. Climb up the walls and jump out. They thought about how they would do it. Ryan pointed out that there's nothing on the walls to climb on. And that the door would be super heavy.
They finally decided on finding something to climb. Mikayla get on my shoulders and jump on the top of the wall, Isaiah said. Augustine looked at Ryan then looked back at isaiah. Ryan walked towards Isaiah and did the same as Mikayla then Augustine did the same then grabbed Isaiah and pulled him up the wall. From where they were they could see everything. It was getting dark daily quickly so they walked on top of the walls of the maze till they found where they came in. they jumped down and started running. They ran to augustines house because it was the closest and stayed there.
The next day they woke up and needed to get to school. Augustine opened the window blind to see blood on the window. He freaked out and fell on the floor. Everyone came into his room and asked what happened. He said what happened and went to his mom, he looked at the house and saw that there were halloween decorations everywhere and started to think the blood was fake. His mom walked up to him and said that she can give Ryan and Mikayla some clothes and that he needs to get Isaiah some too, and then she said she would drive them to school or they can ride the bus. They chose to ride the bus and went to get dressed.
They got on the bus and felt relieved because they hopefully won't run into the old man anymore. But they were wrong. Once they got to school the old man was watching them get off the bus. Mikayla looked around and felt like she was being watched so she ran up to Augustine and stood really close to him as they walked into the school. Augustine was confused so he asked what was wrong. I feel like i'm being watched, so i just wanted to feel safe so i came to u because u make me feel safe. How? Augustine said. Ur tall, but so is ryan.. augustine started to blush. T-thanks i guess. Isaiah looked behind him and got jealous of augustine. Wow he gets the cute girl of the group. Whatever, I will make that change he said in his mind.
Augustine saw Isaiah looking at them and took his arm away from Mikayla which made her fall to the ground in front of the whole school. Everyone started laughing at her. Mikayla turned really red, pushed Augustine out of the way and ran to the bathroom. Ryan went after her, Isaiah stood there looking at Augustine as he was also bright red. Isaiah shook his head and walked to class. Augustine looked at everyone around him and saw the old man, the old man started walking towards him and Augustine ran to where Ryan and Mikayla were. He banged on the door and yelled to let him in. Ryan got up and opened the door and let him in.
The old man waited outside of the door and noticed there was a lock. He started searching his pockets for something he could use to pick the lock. He looked on the ground and saw a bobby pin, he picked it up and started to pick the lock. The three of them heard him picking the lock so they went out the other door and ran to class. When the old man got the door unlocked the principal came up behind him and asked why he was in the school. The old man turned around and said I'm here for my son Augustine and his friends mikayla, ryan, and isaiah.
The principal looked the old man in the eyes and told him to get out before he calls the police. The old man looked around and left the school. The principal went to the classroom that Augustine was in and asked for him to go with him to his office. The principal looked Augustine straight in the eyes and asked him questions about the old man. Augustine told the principal everything. The principal then called the cops and had them follow augustine, isaiah, ryan, and mikayla to where the old man was. The officers arrested the old man and looked through the house and saw many torcher devices, then told the 4 of them that they were lucky they escaped. Then the old man was put in jail. But little did they know. The old man had some tricks up his sleeves.
