"Come on Mr. Rodriguez! Keep running!" My coach yells as I run back and forth on the football field. "This is stupid. I was only a few minutes late." I said underneath my breath as I ran back and forth.
I've already been here for a hour and I already wanted to head home. I just hope I have time to do other things before I head to Cindy's dance performance. I stopped to catch my breath, my coach started to make his way over to me. "You'll think twice about being late next time I assume." My coach said as he pats my back.
"Hit the shower and head home." He said as he turned around to walk away. I looked down at my watch and realized the time it was already 6:39 so I quickly headed back to the locker room and got ready.
I have a hour until Cindy's performance, I quickly grabed my things and headed to my truck. I threw my things in the back and hurried inside my truck. Once I got home I ran inside to take a quick shower, good thing I had a outfit ready in my closet.
I jumped in the shower, not even giving the shower a chance to warm up. The cold water hitting my skin making me shiver. As I was showering I heard a small knock at the door. "What's up?" I yelled out as I quickly tried to finish showering.
"Your friends are here!" I hear my mom yell out. Turning off the water I quickly dried my self and put on a black button up shirt with a slightly lighter black pair of dressy pants.

The group was here and waiting for me so I quickly did my hair with a bit of gel and headed out of the bath room. I quickly walked past my brothers room to my room but I stopped in my tracks. I reversed and looked inside Felix's room to see he wasn't there, "oh no..please tell me he's not going." I said to my self.
I quickly put on my shoes and grabbed my phone, wallet and keys. I hurried down the stairs hopping to see Felix down stairs, "finally! We should go before our seats are taken." Grace said as she looks at the time on her phone.
Xavier walked up to me and put his arm over my shoulder. "Nah don't rush the man, you know it takes time for him to look this good." He said laughing, I shoved him a bit as I laughed, I looked around to see if Felix was around. I saw my mom walk into the room she was nicely dress as she stood with my dad who was also nicely dressed. "Mom have you seen Felix?" I asked.
