Dewy sighed, this was not how he had hoped today would go. All he had wanted was to spend some time with his "family" (and maybe fill the gap inside him), but instead he got ridiculed and tricked. Taken advantage of and used for their own means. And if this is what "family" meant, then he didn't want it. Not anymore. Tonight he would run away with his best friend until he either found the filling for the gap or had a family to call his own. Even if it was just him and her.
On the other side of town, on the "rich" side, Huey was thinking the exact opposite. He was thinking of how lucky he was, he was thinking that if this wasn't how life was supposed to be lived than he didn't want to do it right. He had a great troop (The Junior Woodchucks), the best friend ever, an amazing older sister and parents who loved them, and he was an heir to a fortune! But...even with this amazing life he has always felt like he was a little incomplete, like he was missing some part of him. But, since that's not logical or possible he decided to just ignore it until it either went away got filled in. And in the meantime he would keep living his amazing life to the fullest.
Now Louie on the other hand has always known what he wanted to be, he has never felt incomplete. And besides his lust for riches he has always felt whole. So when he is finally offered his first "job" to prove himself, he took it in leaning strides, ready to prove himself and claim his rightful reward...no matter the consequences.
