Chapter 12: Behind The Curtain

SASKIA'S POV

High ranking and normal sentries was no exception. Even the mentors and overseers of the Arozel Institution.

"Head Mistress?"

"Yeah, she'll reveal herself today."

We heard a few murmurs behind us. The B-Class at the back of us. Since kami ang highest rank, nasa unahan kami.

Nasa right side ang mga scholars at nasa left side naman ng open field ang mga sentries ng Zavied. Both side were facing each other since sasalubungin ng buong institution ang mga visitors. The main castle's two sides were occupied by Arozel's two groups of people. Mula sa gilid namin, matatanaw ang malaking gate ng Arozel na hanggang ngayon ay nakasarado pa rin.

The castle has a terrace above it. Nakatayo roon si Lady Arasca at nakatingin sa harap.

This is not the first that I will see her, since nagkita na kami noon sa likod ng library. Palaisipan pa rin sa 'kin ang mga katagang iniwan niya noon.

Nasa baba ng terrace ang mga overseers. There are five of them including Mr. Zaniel. Ikaanim si Lady Arasca na nasa taas. They are standing in a firm position and every one of them exude an imposing authority.

"Who will be the visitors this time?" Allisa asked. Nasa pagitan namin si Celeste.

Last week pagkabalik namin sa Arozel, pinadala na rin namin sa overseers ang mensahe ng Lord Mayor. The thing about the alliance.

"Wala pa rin si Tristan?" Keith asked, mahina lang ang boses nito dahil malayo siya sa 'min. Nakabukod kasi ang female at male scholars.

"He's the only one in A-Class who receives orders directly from the Head Mistress, nasa mahirap na mission na naman yata 'yon," Allisa muttered.

I lowered my head to glance at her. "Is it because of his position?"

"I don't know," She shrugged.
