Where Kirumi Tojo meets Livio of Italy.

(AU where Prince Series and Danganronpa are in the same universe, and everyone in V3 is alive)

Kirumi was out one day, going to the grocery store to replenish the fridge in the V3 house. Kokichi, being Kokichi, had invited all of DICE to the V3 house last night without getting any permission from the mother figure of the house, hence easily clearing out all the food supplies in the kitchen. Of course, Kirumi had made sure Kokichi cleaned up his and DICE's mess before she left the house to get more food.

The previous Ultimate Maid stared into the distance as she walked along a serene path next to the beach. She shut her eyes, slowly taking deep breaths to enjoy the tranquil she had all to herself. Or, so she thought.

She should have known better than to walk with her eyes closed, because she tripped on a rock, and was about to face-plant into the floor. Before she had time to react, someone quickly got hold of her arm, keeping her face just inches away from the ground.

Regaining her composure, Kirumi got to her feet, and dusted her long dress - the one she wore from the killing game. She looked up, and saw a male version of her.

Kirumi did a double-take. She blinked once, twice, thrice, and the same kind figure who saved her continued to smile back at her. Regaining her composure again, she cleared her throat. "Forgive me for spacing out. And thank you for saving me, Sir...?"

"Livio," The silver-haired male smiled sweetly at her, and knelt down to kiss her hand. "It's nice to meet you, Miss. And no problem." Kirumi smiled too, and placed her other hand on her chest, "I'm Kirumi Tojo, previously known as the Ultimate Maid. I once took part in a Danganronpa game."

Livio's eyes widened, "Danganronpa? The virtual game where you kill to escape?" Kirumi nodded, and Livio's face changed into one of concern, "It must have been traumatising. Are you okay, Miss?"

"No need to address me with such a high title," Kirumi spoke, "I'm only a maid."

Livio smiled again, "A maid? You do dress like a pretty one. I suppose we are in the same boat. I am the personal assistant and bodyguard to an important figure."

"I see," Kirumi hummed, and silence fell over them. Not knowing how to proceed, Kirumi glanced at the empty shopping bag in Livio's hand.

"I see you're going shopping as well," Kirumi raised an eyebrow, though covered by her hair, "Mind if I accompany you? If it is not too much trouble."

"It won't be," Livio grinned. "I don't mind having some company. It's a little lonely going all by myself, anyway."

After they had gotten their needed groceries, exhausted and sweating from the trip, they walked by a quaint cafe whose strong coffee scent attracted them. Livio did not miss the way Kirumi's eyes gave a longing look at the cafe, despite it being subtle and short.

"You seem to want a drink. Shall we take a short break at the cafe?" Livio smirked at Kirumi.

Kirumi shot back, "Don't act like you didn't look longingly at the cafe either," and Livio's cheeks flushed slightly in embarrassment. "But if it is okay with you, I wouldn't mind taking a rest and a drink at the cafe."

Livio checked his watch, smiled, and followed Kirumi to the cafe.

The two silver-haired teens had found a vacant table at the cafe, but neither were willing to sit down first. Both seemed equally hesitant - after all, they had been standing behind people's chairs all their life, and was not used to the fact that they could now sit down whenever they wanted.
