I take one last look in the mirror, hair straighten, makeup on point, and dress flawless. I turn and look at Nicole,
"How do I look?"
"STUNNING!"
I smile "haha you to Nicole." We both smile and we head out the door. We walk down the street to catch a cab, since we don't have cars. Its about 10 mins before we get one to stop. We both hop in.
"Where to ladies?" The man asked.
"A few blocks a ahead." we both said. He nodded his head, it was a pretty quite ride there until Nicole broke the silence,
"So you and Tate, what you plan on doing tonight?"
I look at her for a second,
"Dance what else?"
Nicole chuckles, what is she laughing at? What if he wants more? I look at the window and I see a house with flashing lights, and loud music. The cab comes to a stop.
"$5.50."
I hand him the cash and we both hop out. We both look at each and take a deep breathe and go inside. The loud music pours into my ears, I turn to say something to Nicole, but she wasn't there, she was somewhere in the sea of people, that I will not be walking through. I feel a hand grab my waist, and I spin around just to see it was Tate. A big smile crept across my face.
"Hey baby girl." Tate says, I can smell the alcohol on his breathe.
"Hey boy, you drunk already?"
"Nah, I'm fine, I've been waiting for you!" Tate says. He gives me a big hug, and he grabs my hand and takes me through the crowd of people. I bump into people, they ignore me and they keep drinking and dancing. I finally spot Nicole. Tate looks at me and pulls me close.
"Want to dance?" A slow song came on an how could I say no. Me and him sways side to side. I look up at him an he was already looking at me. I start to feeling a burning sensation on my cheeks. He grabs my hand and takes me to where the drinks are. "Amber!" Nicole yells. " over here!" I make my way to Nicole with Tate still holding my hand. "I see you guys dancing what Yall up to now?" She says with a snicker on her face.
"I have a surprise for her." he winks, and hands me a drink. I smell it first, just regular beer. I take a sip. I wave by to Nicole as Tate leads me up stairs. I finished the drink as we reached the last step. I got a little buzz going on but no a big one. Tate looks at me, "you look perfect tonight. We are just going to my room since it's so loud downstairs." I freeze up, his room? He looks at me for a second and he grabs my hand, and picks me up, I giggle. He opens his door and lays me on the bed. He just sat there and stared at me while I stared back. He gives me a smile and he gets up to turn some smoothing music on. He comes back and lays beside me,
"So baby?" he begins to play with my hair, and I start drifting off. He gives me a little shake. "wake up." he says quietly. He gives me a slight kiss on the mouth, and he pulls away. I looked at him, and he looked at me, and I just went for it. We started to kiss uncontrollably, he kissed my neck and my face. I melted in his hands. "You like this?" I nodded and he continued. This was so peaceful. He pulls me up and starts to unzip my dress, and I just let him. His warm hands slipped down my back and a chill goes up my spine. Then he jerks up letting me fall back to the bed. "SIRENS!" Tate yelled. he scurried down the stairs to warn everyone, everyone starts screaming and running out. I zip my dress back and he comes back, he plants a kiss on my lips and he tells me to hurry and go before the police come, and I did. Tate yells "text me!" And I yell yes right back. I meet Nicole outside with a cab already waiting, we both jump in and we both look at each other and smile. "what a successful night." Nicole says
