Tzuyu POV

Sports Hall

I was so caught up with the musical show I forgot to go to basketball practice often. When I arrived everyone was leaving.

"I think I'm gonna stay awhile. Work on some free throws", I said.

"Since you missed practice a lot. I think the team deserves a lit bit of effort from you today", Dad said coldly and walked away.

I dribbled to the free throw spot and shot a basketball into the hoop.

~ A few minutes later ~

"So this is your real stage".

I turned around seeing Mina.

"Yeah. I guess you could call it that", I said.

She took the ball out of my hand.

"Or just a smelly gym", I said.

She bounced the ball and shot. 

"Whoah. Don't tell me you're good at hoops too", I said smiling.

She came back to me with the ball in her hand.

"You know, I once scored 41 points at a league championship game", she said smiling.

"No way", I said.

"Mmm-hmm and the same day. I invited the space shuttle and microwave popcorn", she said.

"Microwave popcorn. Ha-ha funny", I said taking the ball and shot into the hoop.

"I've been rehearsing with Chaeyoung", she said.

"Me two".

She grabbed the ball.

"Hey, that's travelling", I said.

"No that's really bad travelling", I said wrapping my arms around her waist, picking her up and sound around in 180.

"Miss, I'm sorry this is closed practice", Dad said.

"Dad practice is over", I said.

"Not till the last people leaves. Team rule", he said.

"Oh, I'm sorry sir", Mina said.

"Dad this is Myoui Mina", I said.

"Ahh your detention buddy", he said.

What is his problem?

"I'll see you later Tzuyu. Nice meeting you Coach Chou", Mina said giving me the ball and walked away.

"You as well Miss Myoui".

"Dad detention was my fault, not hers", I said.

"You haven't missed practice for three years. That girl shows up".

"That girl is Mina and she's very nice", I said.

"Helping you miss practice doesn't make her very nice. Not in my book or your team's".

"Dad she's not a problem. She's just a girl", I said.

"But your not just a girl Tzuyu! You're a team leader. What you do affect's not only the team but the entire school. And without you completely focused we're not gonna win next week. The championship games don't come along all the time. There are something special", He said.

"Yeah, a lot of things are special Dad".

"But you're a playmaker, not a singer. Right?".

"Did you ever think maybe I could be both!!", I said annoyed.

I dropped the ball and just walked out of the Gym.

Mina's POV

My Bedroom

I was in the middle of studying when my phone vibrated. I picked it up seeing a message from Tzuyu.

Hey, I'm sorry for how my father acted earlier

It's okay, I shouldn't have been there

No, he shouldn't have spoken to you like that

It's really fine

I don't care if you say its fine. Irs not fine with me.

I'll see you tomorrow and perhaps get a chance alone
