Now, it's not that I don't like people. I just don't like dumb people. The ones that just make you want to rip out your tongue and eat it. Those people. And today, I was in the middle of a stationary conversation with one.

"No Zander, you can't eat your limb and expect it to grow back just because you ate it." I sighed.

"Well actually it would because it's still a part of you" he said proudly.

"No, your body will digest it and simply remove the nutrients and leave the pulpy dead cells. Your limb will simply be-"

"Hey Tori! Do you have a second?" said my friend Samantha. Graciously saving me from this conversation.

"Well actually she doesn't -"chimed in Zander.

"No, I have a second. What is it?" I said, escaping the discussion.

She grabbed my arm and pulled me into the corner of the room. I guess she though this would make the conversation more private but frankly it was ineffective. I mean in this room at St. Joseph's church where the rooms are empty, by population and furniture, there is no privacy.

"So you know how Cam left his journal on his desk yesterday, right?" she queried.

I'm not sure if I did. I left school and went to pick up Vince from the autistic classroom at the highschool. Since Cam spends most of his day volunteering in the class he might of left it there. I'm not sure though.

"Yeah" I reply just in case she decided not to tell me.

"Did you, you know, open it and read it?"

"No. I didn't have time."

"Oh. Well I did and you won't believe what it said" she exclaimed although still sounding nervous.

"What, tell me!" I pleaded, I was excited to hear what she was going to say.

"Well apparently there's a small group of kids meeting up with him every Wednesday in the building behind Phil's Deli. It doesn't specify what they do but from the way he explains it it seems exciting- but that's not why I pulled you over here," she almost whispered.

"Why then?" I was evidently curious. I didn't know that Cameron was involved with secret activities.

"Okay, well I never got to read the entire thing because Cam came back and he doesn't like people reading his journal," she snickers, Cam doesn't like people snooping around with in his things. "But I'm curious and I want to go."

"Whoah, that sounds cool." I replied. It did sound cool, but a little risky. I don't think Cameron would be to cool with us invading his privacy.

"So, are you in?"

I don't know, am I? I decided to play it safe. "Sure, call me tonight"

"Okay" and with that she picked up her bag and left. I was expecting a call tonight.
