Edwards pov
I growled as I smashed a tree away from me pulling at my hair. The normally muted voices of those around me were at a loud roar. As if I were in a large crowd. Kill her. Finish her. End her. Conform to my will. 'No I will not!' I roared back falling to my knees. Then like a snap of the fingers, the voices vanished and I didn't feel compelled any longer. I looked around, seeing all the trees I destroyed. I don't recall coming outside. Last time I was aware of anything I was in Carlisle office looking at some of his books. But how?..."are you alright dear?" I snapped my head to the left to see Esme standing a few feet away from me with her hand held out. I looked at her for a few more seconds, stunned I couldn't hear her thoughts or her approach when she came. I could hear them now though, but barely. It was like a faint whisper that got carried away by the wind. "Edward dear, are you alright?" She asked again, more worried than before. I shook my head to clear my thoughts before responding and taking her hand "I'm not sure Esme, I'm not..sure" I looked up at her to see her face soften, warmth and concern burning in her eyes. "Well come along dear, let me take you back inside." I nodded again allowing her to pull me to my feet. I tired to walk after her, but my legs buckled and I could no longer walk. I felt all the energy flow right out of my bony, like I had run two miles without stopping. "Edward!" I couldn't pay attention, I couldn't do anything as I felt myself slowly fading into a darkness of nothing. Only faintly hearing Esme call for Carlisle, then I became nothing.

Bella's pov
"Take me to her please" Rose begged holding the cub to her tighter, but in a tender way. I shook my massive head and held up a paw. I was surprised she didn't recognize my voice in her head. But how do I shift back to being human? I didn't learn that before following that blasted light. 'You must think of things that tie you down to your human form. Only then can you shift back' Kayla told me through our link. I huffed, agitated slightly by her randomly speaking to me without permission. Wait- what the hell? This must be the tiger in me talking, I would have never gotten agitated by her before. "Um, tiger?" I was shaken out of my thoughts by Rosalie. I cocked my head to the side in question before realizing I had yet to shift. I smacked my paw to my face in embarrassment before thinking about the things to bring me back to human form. Of course I had to think about Alice..her laugh, her golden eyes that made me melt, her breathtaking smile and mouthwatering scent.."Bella!" I heard Rosalie yell before I was semi crushed into cool arms. It took me a minute before wrapping my arms around her and hugging her just as tightly. "Rose" I whimpered. I was filled with such raw emotion, I could feel the tears streaming down my cheeks. "Oh Bella you're alive." She sobbed into my ear, although I knew better. I knew she couldn't really cry, no matter how much she wanted to. No matter how angry I wanted to be at her for leaving me..I couldn't find the heart to be. "Yes, I was saved.." I murmured. She pulled away from me, her eyes burning with sorrow and rage. "Edward" she growled. I flinched at her tone and the name nodding stiffly. Immediately her eyes softened and a small smile graced her lips. "Sorry" I waved it off with a smile myself. "Are you alone? I heard two others with-" I was cut off by a small pixie like body slamming into me effectively putting us on the forest floor. I was instantly surrounded by a scent that could only describe- "Alice!" Rosalie yelled, voiced filled with mirth. I opened my eyes only to see a halo of raven colored hair my breath leaving me as she pushed her face into my neck. "A-Alice?" I whispered, my voice cracking. "Oh Bella" she whimpered. "My sweet Bella" I pulled her tiny frame into my chest breathing in her scent as she did the same to me. She then pulled away kissing all over my face and neck checking for any sign of injuries. I giggled "Alice I'm fine, I'm all healed up" she did a few more kisses before pulling away completely allowing me to open my eyes. I gasped as I took in her form with my enhanced vision, and then my world stopped as our eyes connected. I no longer saw through my own eyes, but the tiger within me. I felt as if the sun came into me and filled my entire soul with its warmth. But I realized that that sun..was Alice. MY alice..she was my sun. My mate..
