A/N: Big thanks to my twin and my Mo-Mo! Enjoy!
Emma sighed as she sat in her yellow bug outside of Regina's house. Why would Regina help her? Emma's mom, Snow, wants nothing to do with Regina. Emma thinks different though. She has to protect her. Emma sat back hard at this. She closed her eyes and told herself not to-
Lost in thought Emma didn't notice Regina standing outside her car peeking through the passenger window.
The former mayor knocked on the window, which made Emma jump out of her seat. Regina smiled at this but instantly made it vanish. Regina motioned for Emma to roll down the window.
Regina bent down and looked at Emma, "Miss. Swan, were you going to knock, or sit in front of my house like a stalker?"
Emma frowned and ignored her rude question and got out of the car, "I- I need your help."
The older woman raised an eyebrow and slipped her hands in her jacket pockets, "Well, I guess you should come in then." Regina turned to walk in, knowing Emma would follow.
She opened the door and held it for Emma. Emma walker by her and nodded her thank you. Regina closed the door and walked up behind Emma, "What do you need help with, dear?"
Emma turned to face her. "There's this party..." Regina replied, "I'm not a dating service, Miss. Swan."
She walked past Emma and slid into her office. Emma followed and said, "It's not a date I need." Regina strolled to the other side of the room to pour herself a glass of cider.
She raised an eyebrow, "Hm?" She took a sip of her cider, licking her lips at the taste, "Then what, dear?"
Emma looked down at her feet. "A dress," she mumbled. Regina smirked, entertained by this. "A dress?" She walked back to Emma with a glass of cider in her hand.
The blonde took the drink and took a sip. She sighed, "Yes. A dress and I need your help."
The mayor shook her head. "Why come to me?"
Emma didn't know why. She had just figured Regina would know what to wear. "Well you know all the rules to being a princess and stuff..."
Regina sat on her desk. After taking a long sip she replied, "Indeed I do," she smirked behind her glass. "Princess."
The sheriff rolled her eyes and walked up to Regina's desk, "Fine, don't help me! This was a bad idea, anyways." Emma was ready to storm out of the house, but Regina grabbed her arm.
"Come to my closet." Then she had to ruin the moment by giggling with a roll of her eyes and pulling Emma up the stairs. Emma just shrugged, smiled, and allowed herself to be led into Regina's room.
"What kind of dress do you need, dear?" Regina asked two minutes later. Emma was standing in her bedroom, taking everything in while Regina dug through her closet.
"I only have business and formal," The former mayor said, frustrated, as she trifled through her closet. Emma, feeling hopeless, started to cry. Regina instantly rushed over next to Emma.
"Don't worry, Emma, I'll find something for you," Regina said gently and wiped Emma's tears away with her thumb. Emma nodded and reluctantly smiled, "It's just my-," she stopped herself from saying parents, "Snow and Charming are putting all this pressure on me and," more tears fell, "it's just a lot."
Regina wiped her tears off, while cupping her face. "Don't worry, Emma. I'll find you a dress," the brunette said with a reassuring smile.
