Chapter One. Tragety Strikes

Hinata POV.

It was a normal day for training camp. It was a normal day, or so we thought. Me and Bokuto where working on our spikes while everyone else was doing there own thing. Then all the sudden from the bench (can't have our phones on us while practicing) we all hear a loud blaring noise coming from all of our phones causing everyone to mess up whatever they where doing and run over. "What the hell??" Screams Kenma when he's the first one to check.

"What's wrong Kenma?!" I finally reach my phone and the phone was red and the noise still blaring the message read. 'This is not a drill. Take cover. Widespread disease, do NOT get bit! Wait for help'. I look up in fear at everyone's faces who all showed the same expression. Kenma is the first to yell "alright! Get your asses in gear boys. We're in luck due to Nekomas likely placing there's a gun store around the block everyone grab something to protect yourself with and meet me at the door!"

everyone freaking out but now is realizing what we need to do we work together to break things making makeshift weapons while Kenma already found a bat..? Does he just come with these things? After about 5 minutes everyone finds something to use. The rather large group of volleyball players all gather at the front door. Kenma is there already with a planned strategy.

"Nekoma team players you will be on the inner side of our defense force, offering backup rather than charging in, Fukurodani players you will be look out and scavenging, Karasuno you guys are crazy fast and crazy in general. You will be our defenses. Along with all the aces of course. We go in and we grab what we can take and get back here. Try not to get separated and stay in atleast groups of 2 or more. Got it?"

We all respond with a nod and scream yea! I was already next to Kageyama lucky right the boy I love and admire most already right next to me. We started dating 3 weeks ago after I confessed on accident.

He grabbed my hand and I felt a wave of calm and confidence go over me. His weapon was currently the same as mine and as most here a broken stick from either a broom or a rack. We all had no idea what was going on but decided Kenma was definitely the best person to rely on in this situation and we head out and around the corner and break in to the shop.

We all looked around heavily confused as there was no one there but then started grabbing whatever we could get. Ammo, guns, grenades, masks, even the drinks they had stored. Everything was going well but then I felt something bite my shoulder. I shrieked in pain and my head jerked over seeing a.. ZOMBIE?!!?!! I flipped the pistol I had in my hand around and shot it in the head.

Kageyama rushed over to me first along with everyone else following. "HINATA BOKE WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING?!?!" He screamed with tears in his eyes holding my limp body. My vision is going fuzzy. "K-Kageyama..?" I manage to squeak out. "Yes yes! It's me your gonna be fine!" He says with tears running down his face. I was confused and scared. What's gonna happen now?? Am I gonna die?! My thoughts where racing like a wild fire but then I hear Kageyama say "S-Shoyo..?"

Kageyama POV

We all where fine then I heard Hinata shriek I turned around and saw something bite his shoulder then a loud bang from the pistol he shot right through his head. I rush over to him and catch him before he hits the floor. His shoulder is bleeding. Bad. I was freaking out.

What's gonna happen now I scream at him "HINATA BOKE WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING?!" He just lays there looking up at me. He looks pale and the blood suddenly stops coming from his shoulder. "K-Kageyama..?" He manages to squeak out and I tell him he will be fine. His shoulder just suddenly stopped bleeding.. did he turn into a zombie?

What the hell is happening. I say his name and I'm crying by now. I don't care if I look weak my fucking boyfriend just got bit by a zombie. Under his eyes turn to a dark black like he hasn't slept in years and he sits up.

I give him space and he looks at me and he says. "Tobio? What's wrong why are you looking at me like that?" He's fine?? What the fuck is going on? Does he not remember he was literally just BIT BY A FUCKING ZOMBIE?!!!!! Kenma walks over to him and puts two fingers up to his neck and his face goes pale "n-no pulse.." he mumbles backing away.

Hinata looks at me with a confused look and then it's like everything comes to him all at once and he falls to his knees and tries to check his pulse and gets nothing just like Kenma did and he turns around and looks at kenma. "Your the expert right..?" He says calmly at first then stands up and screams "WHY CAN I STILL THINK?!?! I SHOULD BE A MINDLESS BRAIN ROT BY NOW RIGHT?!!"

Kenma is shocked and has no idea in any way shape or form of what's going on composes himself and says. "I don't want to kill Shoyo. I'm not going to if I don't need to. It looks like he only kind of turned? For some reason I don't know why. But if he tries to attack any of us then I will have to kill him. Until then let's just head back to the gym we need to barricade the place and find other supplies" he says calmly holding a shotgun over his shoulder opening the door to the shop heading out.

"I'm sure none of us will be as lucky as Shoyo, do not get bit. Kageyama stick with Shoyo do not leave his side" and with that we all head out and head back to the gym. My boyfriend is a hybrid zombie.. this is a lot to take in.

We better get some good quality beds cause we are all gonna need a good night of sleep to let this sink in. I look over at hinata and his nails grew a bit with a small sharp point to them and he grabbed my hand and smiled at me "let's go Kageyama" his hand is cold but I try not to think too much about it and we get going with the others.
