As his lips were pressed against mine I slammed my knee into his groin and he broke away with a groan.

"What the hell?" He asked.

But I didn't reply instead I side kicked him to the ground.

He was lying on the ground in pain so I took that as my opportunity and ran for it.

I ran for the lake and by the time I got there I already heard the commotion behind me.

I didn't dare look back as I dived head first into the water.

I slipped into the water for what seemed like the first time in forever and swam faster than I think I ever had before in my life.

I didn't let my mind think of what I had just done or said back there.

I was just trying to get away.

I couldn't stand being around the people who loved and cared about me they would make me second guess the decision I had already made.

And I refused to not go through with this.

I felt myself ripping through the water even faster and I forced myself to come up for air.

I looked around and I didn't notice my surroundings.

I did notice a bit of land a little farther away and I started paddling towards it.

As I approached it I realized it was a beach.

But what beach I wasn't sure.

The shore line was empty and not a human was in sight so I thought it was fairly safe to just walk out of the water.

I was dry as I walked along the beach breathing in the salty fresh breeze.

I was going to miss this.

As I felt the sand between my toes I felt an odd sense of home.

This was were I belonged.

I sighed in content and then made my way over some sand dunes and onto a wooden pathway that led to the road.

I felt the splintery wood beneath me feet and I was surprised none of the splinters made it into my skin.

As I got to the end of the wooden pathway I transferred onto the sand that lined the road.

I was walking for a while passing beautiful beach houses with every step.

The more I thought about it the more I thought I'd want a house on the beach.

Of course I'd never get a house on the beach.

A sad smile spread across my face as I walked down towards a group of shops.

I saw a wings and I walked inside looking for a decent outfit and not the tattered dirtied clothes I had run away in.

I found a bikini, a shirt, some shorts, and a pair of flip flops and I decided to go out then on.

There was a bathroom in the back so I traded my horribly filthy clothes for the new cheap beach shop ones.

I put them on and smiled as I looked at myself in the mirror.

I actually looked like a beach girl.

I threw my other clothes out not quite sure why I would carry them with me and I went back to the main area.

I found a nice beach towel, a bag and a pair of sunglasses and brought them to the front.

"That'll be 46.28" the cashier said ringing me up.
