i was clocking out at the station to start the long walk home. it was dark and stormy. i had a lot of paperwork to do when i got back to my apt. i just got a new case about a killer who goes by balcky. The latest murder was on a middle aged women in the park she had been there for a few days, when we arrived her teeth and hands where removed from her body just like the past victims.
I was interrupted from my thoughts by a scream coming from the ally. I called for backup as I raced down the ally,when I got there I saw somebody with a mask on he was holding something shiny. well somebody was on the ground, I could hear somebody moaning in pain, as i took step closer I could make out the figure of a women, I come from my hiding spot and revealed myself to the figure, when I was able to see the figure I cloud see it was a women, as I slowly approached her I was shocked see my sister Mariah on the ground half alive bleeding out. I ran out to her as the killer ran off when he saw flashing lights. when the police arrived they put her in the ambulance and sped to the hospital .
a week later i came to the hospital to see Mariah and ask about the killer. as i came into the room i saw her sitting up talking with the nurse. "Mariah can i ask you a few things" she noded at me to come and "could you tell me anything about the killer" i only remember a little about them. they had a deep voice, short side swept hair and through the dark mask i could see these ocean blue eyes. i could only nod at her "thank you for the help i hope you feel well soon" " and when i do ill go right to your house" i smiled at her then left.
when i got back to the station i flied down what she told me i believe it was a man form the description. after i put all the details in file i clocked out. i went home and got in my bed and drifted off i awoke later that night from a loud BANG in the kitchen. i garbed my gun out of my night stand and crept down the stairs to see what that sound was at first i didn't see nothing and was going to head back up but i herd a crash from the kitchen and ran in just to be tackled by the man from the ally. all of sudden everything went black.
when i woke up i was in a white room that of smelt of bleach. when i looked at my hands there was IV. that's when i realized i was in the hospital. i herd a soft knock at my door. "come in" i raspily spoke. the nurse came in she had shoulder length brown hair, green eyes. "oh your awake" i had million thoughts running in my head like a stamped of horses . "how Long have i been asleep" "almost a week you're lucky you're parents care about you" "my parents" "yeah they where calling you and you didn't answer and i guess it worried them" "oh" just as said that my mom and dad walked in "how you feeling Mary" i'm doing OK mom" "why am i here anyway" my mom and dad looked at one another worried "well when you where at your apt. somebody broke in and attacked you"
"attacked me?" i must of looked confused because my dad looked at me and said " yeah we where calling you didn't answer and you didn't answer when i knocked on the door later that night so i got the spare key and let myself in and saw you in the Kitchen knocked out with a pan laying beside you police think its what knocked you out but they couldn't find any fingerprints"
"oh" i sighed out a long breath "well anyway" the nurse made her present still know "you are free to leave after you check out at the front desk." "thank you" the nurse nodded and walked out. "well let me get dressed and then we can go" alright sweetie but be careful" "bye mom,dad" as soon as they walked out i got dressed and checked out i was wearing a mini skirt it was white and had flowers all over and pink tank top.
as i was walking home i felt i was being watched bit i soon made it to my street and i was on my way up the stairs of my building leading up to my apt. when i felt a hand grab me and hold a knife against my neck as i held my breath the world just stopped spinning and not the good kind like when you fall in love, but like im going to die.
and once again it went dark when i woke back up i was in place that smelt of mildew,i tried to sit up but i was tied down then somebody came down the stairs it was the same man that tried to kill my sister as he got closer i kept pulling against the ropes but it was no use it just got tighter. "you're awake" he said all i could do was nod "what cant you talk" i just looked at him" well no matter i couldn't get your sister so i got you instead but you could be of use quite pretty" he told me well he was checking me out. "work for the Seattle police" he stopped looking at my body instated he looked at my face and clapped his hands . "i think ill keep yous a erm..pet."
"a-a-a pet" " yes wouldn't that be funny a police officer a pet for a villain anyway i have to go i have business to attend to" he walked out turning off a light on his way out so it was dark except for the moon shinning in
