Sits on the beach
About two weeks
After her parents
Funeral. This 10
Year old little girl
Has just barely
Experienced life
And already she
Wants it to be over.
She has her amateur
Nikon camera in her
Small hands, acquiring
A picture of the sinking
Sun. She doesn't know
How long she'll be here,
So as long as she's here
She wants to capture life's
Greatest moments.
That girl was me...
