Part II - Answer?

I walked across the bridge, but I couldn't help but notice Yamaguchi under the bridge. Something inside me burst. "EI, YAMAGUCHI!" A voice blasted next to me. Next to me was my friend, Natsume Asako aka Mitty. "Shh, SHHH, SHHHH..!"I tried to quiet her down frantically but to no avail. "Hmm?" Asako asked innocently. "Asako? Been a while since I last saw you. Oh, you came Mizutani!" I could hear Yamaguchi's voice. His smooth silky voice, why had I not noticed it the day I first meet him that day... Wait what was I thinking? I briefly straightened myself out and leaned over the bridge."Umm... CAN'T YOU TELL ME UP HERE?" I yelled. Yamaguchi scratched his head and he looked down again and mumbled. "Wait what?" Asako looked back and forth from Yamaguchi to me. "Am I missing out on something?" she looked genuinely confused. I sighed.

"What do you want?" I leaned against the wall. "Well, so h-how was your day?" he stammered. "Fine." I said. Awkward silence. I stared at his silky blonde head down to his face that was strangely more red than usual. "Uh, Mi-Mizutani, will you be-" "Talk faster. Your wasting my study time." I tapped my foot impatiently."Be my girlfriend!"he shouted. Wait what? " I know I already asked you out once, but please! G-give me a chance!"he yelled. He closed his eyes as if it would help his chances at all. I didn't know what to say. What does he expect me to say? He already asked me and I said no, does he have some sort of brain malfunction? Or amnesia? What, just what do I do? "I'll tell you my answer tomorrow." I said. Wait no! Did my lips move on my own just now? I looked up at Yamaguchi's face to find him nodding and smiling at the same time. Ah..."Okay, then I'll see you tomorrow!" he turned away before i could say anything. And he ran and ran and ran, his feet gracefully padding on the pavement in the same rhythm as my heartbeat. Thump, a thump, a thump...
