Kabanata 10

I continue avoiding Almario. I'm avoiding to walk in wherever he walked, I'm avoiding to meet his gaze, I'm avoiding to bump with him sa kahit na saang part ng University.

Pabebe na kung pabebe. I'm mad at him pa rin.

"Ang pait na naman tuloy ng mundo."

I was surprised when suddenly someone spoke behind me so I quickly looked at it. "Ethan!" Tinawanan niya ako because of how shock I am. Pabiro ko siyang pinalo sa braso niya. "Bigla bigla kang sumusulpot." I added.

"What did I told you about smiling?" He arc his eyebrow to me and even cross his arms on his chest. "Ngiti lagi para tumamis tamis naman ang mundo."

I smiled at him. My avoidance of Almario caused me to be close to Ethan. Sometimes when we don't have a plan, he suddenly shows up when my friends and I are together. Para tuloy siyang mushroom.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"I saw you, alam ko namang sa gym ka papunta so sasabay na ako sayo." Inakbayan pa ako nito.

Girls are looking at us tuloy. Ethan's have tons of girls crushing over him dito sa MMSU, just like his Stallion brothers. Well, we can't blame these girls. At least alam natin na hindi sila blind and they have a great taste sa lalaki.

"I'm waiting for Rod pa." I answered him.

Nag start na the other day ang practice for the Mr. and Ms. MMSU. The pageant will be held on September 19. One week before the Prelim exam. May two weeks na lang kami to practice and to prepare everything.

Luckily si Rod ang handler namin ni Liam. He's a big help talaga. And through his connections, hindi ko na kailangang mag hanap pa ng mga gagamitin ko sa pageant like gowns and everything.

If I would have known earlier na ganito ang mangyayari sa amin ni Almario, hindi nalang sana ako naging stubborn na sumali sali pa sa Rotary.

Speaking of Rotary. We have meeting nga pala later at 6. I'll get to see him again, and that's kinda nakakainis. 

"You are pouting again." I woke up from deep thought when I heard Ethan's voice.

Alanganin akong umiling sa kanya. "I just remember na may meeting pala kasi sa Rotary later."  shared to him.

"I can accompany you." He seriously said.

"Ha? Uy no need na. I can handle naman." Mabilis akong tumangi sa alok niya.

"I'll accompany you."

Muli sana akong tatanggi but Rod's voice inrterrupt me to do so. "Gora na us." He's holding a 7 inches pageant heels. "Required daw kayo mag heels today."

"Rod, I have heels naman sa Whitehouse. You don't have to-"

"Eh shhh! Daming ebas! Eto ang gagamitin mo, final na. Mga pang party ata 'yung mga heels mo sa Whitehouse eh."

Mula sa mukha ko, he scanned his eyes on my body. Nangingilatis pa talaga.

"Buti naman at sinunod mo 'yung sinabi ko. Ang pak na pak bhie!" He exclaimed.

He advised me na I should where leggings and a fit shirt daw tuwing practice to flunt my body and etchetera. He's really competitive. Parang siya ang kasali at hindi ako.

"As much as I don't want to interrupt your nice talk, but I think malalate na tayo." Ethan said.

"Si Rod kasi andaming sinasabi."

"Ba't ako?"

"Let's go."

Sabay sabay kaming pumasok sa gym. Liam's here already with his girlfriend.
