The girl standing in the alley wasn't a lonely girl, actually far from it, she always had someone breathing on her neck, would it be a classmate of hers, a friend, a professor from college or a ghost like she liked to call them.

Everywhere she walked she was never alone, not really. Souls after death lingered on the human world for quite a while, be it for unfinished business, or maybe death gods really were lazy as it was rumoured among ghosts.
Either way she couldn't care less, she was born with the blessing (or curse, as she liked to remember) to be able to see dead people roaming the living world.

However she couldn't do anything about it, she could only rant about it, but no good would come out of that, so after years and years of getting along with what the world decided to serve her, she wasn't one to be easily shaken by something.

After all other than ghosts there was something far more terribile, curses, or so they called them. They were all ugly monsters with grotesque features and all hungry for some bloodshed. She didn't feel particularly strong about them, the girl didn't hate them nor cherished them; they just existed like carnivores do and herbivores do.

In the light of what has been said before she wasn't even shaken up by curses, but there was a man or rather a curse, or should she say a ghost that definitely got a reaction out of her.

Ryōmen Sukuna.

He was a dick and she had been stuck with him for 10 years, 10 years of him following her around and pestering her all day long.

He wasn't a proper curse because apparently his body had been sealed somewhere and he was the lingering spirit of THE Ryömen Sukuna. Yes the king of all curses, as he liked to remind her from time to time.

At this exact moment of her life, Shinzo was angry, no scratch that, pissed off at Sukuna.

All her life she just had to do everything knowing that ghosts watched over her, it could be seen as a positive thing, she had eyes everywhere one could say!

Now, being born with the ability to see the dead might seem like a cool kind of thing, but people didn't seem to be of the same idea, especially her mother, who so kindly decided that she was a freak and left her at the age of eight.

As she said before, she wasn't never lonely ghosts took care of her, maybe too much, being dead you have nothing much to do, so they could be a little apprehensive.

Growing up she was fine with how things were, a ghost of a grandma, that went by Sumire, took the most care of her, than there was Ryota, he was kind of a little brother to her, even if he'd been on Earth far more then her and then there was Kisuke with half his face blown off, what a nice sight, but he was a nice guy and Shinzo didn't mind.

That's it, that was her happy family, she felt safe and whole again, Shinzo was faring good enough, until Sukuna came waltzing in her life, obviously uninvited.

When he met him she was 10 and on a school trip to some shrine in Sapporo, a pretty lonely flower caught her eye and thus she approached it.

The flower even among all that snow still flourished in spite of everything and everyone all around himself. It was indeed a pretty flower, pretty black patterns all over it, pretty white , pretty stubborn, she liked it.

She debated if she should pick the flower or not, it was kind of selfish to rip the flower form his peaceful spot, but she did so anyways, she would bring it to granny!

However when she got to get up, the little girl could feel heavy breathing on her neck.

It was the first time she saw one, a curse, teeth all over his distorted body, saliva pouring out from his many mouthes, she froze up.

For the first time she was lonely, granny Sumire, little Ryota and kind Kisuke weren't there, they couldn't go too far from their graves after all.

She was alone.

Completely alone in this terrible, horrible situation with a flower as her only shield.

She would die and granny wouldn't even be able to see the pretty flower.

The girl stumbled backwards in an attempt to get away from the monster, the snow was incredibly cold.

She started crying, big tears came down her carbon like eyes, she didn't want to be lonely.

Maybe the flower heard her prayers, maybe it was a coincidence, maybe she was out of luck or maybe she did hit jackpot.

A ghost came to her rescue, actually the ghost didn't do anything, he just appeared, and for some reason the monster run away as fast as he could.

Shinzo didn't understand a damn thing that happened at that time. A man in a white and blue hakama stood in front of her. Maybe she was wrong calling him a man, he had four eyes and four arms, sharp nails, tattoos with the same pattern as the flower all over his face and body and crimson eyes.

"Who dares summon me?" a voice cold as the snow came from the man's mouth.

She didn't make a move to answer him, she just stood there frozen, cold hitting her face and tears stains on her cheeks.

"Oi! I'm talking to you brat!" crimson eyes glared down at the human child.

"I- I didn't do it on purpose! I swear!" obsidian eyes looked fearful at the demon, who was swiftly approaching her.

"You are telling me that a brat summoned me? THE Ryōmen Sukuna? That's rich kid." He started laughing like a mad man.

"Now allow me to test my powers on you, it's been centuries since I moved around!"he threatened the scared child, an hint of joy could be heard in his voice while he cracked his knuckles.

While she was keeping her eyes shut and shielding herself from the blow, no blow came. She dared to open her eyes to see what was going on, just to see the dumbfounded expression on the demon's face.

He tried to strike her again, she even flinched, but he just went through her. A realisation came to her mind: 'he was just like other ghosts', meaning he couldn't touch her unless she wanted him to and he was only an asshole, (granny says she shouldn't repeat what Kisuke says, but there was only one expression to describe this man) with an ego.

She started grinning like a Cheshire cat while his face dropped and he started saying profanities.

"You couldn't even summon me properly kid!"two sets of arms went to grab for her, but they just went through her again.

"Or you're just too weak, gambare gambare, bye bye mister Sukuna!" she waved with the biggest grin on her face and caught up with her classmates that meanwhile had been looking for  her.

'Did she just-?'

"OI COME BACK YOU INSOLENT BRAT!" his yell could be heard in all of Japan, well at least it was audible to other ghosts, curses and Shinzo.
