My fat and lazy cat, madam, jumps on my stomach and awakes me. Just an amazing way to start the morning.

"Do you need food like always?" I roll my eyes. Madam meows like three times and I took that as a yes.

I got her bowl that was on my dresser and filled it with cat food.

After that I make my way downstairs to make some cereal which I eat every second of the day.

"Oh, hey Olivia." Chase comes from the corner.

"Ugh. What are you doing here?" I roll my eyes.

"Uh, did you forget I'm friends with your brother? He invited me over." He replied.

"Why aren't you with him then?" I said crossing my arms.

"I was about to use the bathroom." He scoffed and walked right passed me. Gosh I hate him with a passion.

I walk over to the cupboard and grab the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal box. Then pour it in a bowl. I grab the milk and pour the milk. Yes I put the milk last because I'm not an insane person.

After that I go back upstairs to my room and just watch TV and do nothing else, because my life is lame.

A FEW HOURS LATER

"Hey dumbass! We're going to go get food, you in?" My older brother, Max yelled barged into my room.

"Is Chase going to be with you guys?" I sighed.

"Yeah, why?"

"You know why. Don't act dumb." I said looking back at my phone.

"Come on, you can't hate Chase forever." Max came and sat next to me.

"Yes I can. And I will." I sarcastically smiled and quickly changed to a straight face.

"Looks like you're not going to survive on the first day of junior year on Monday." A chuckle escapes Max's mouth.

"And what do you mean by that?" I ask.

"You know you're going to see Chase a lot at school, so you need to stop with this childish shit." Max demands.

"I've hated him since freshman year so how do you think I'm going to stop liking him?" I crossed my arms.

"You don't even have a reason as of why you don't like him, but anyways I'm gonna go get food with the others. See you later." Max says getting up from my bed.

I just rolled my eyes and went back on my phone. I don't want Monday to come. That's literally two days away and I have a bad feeling about the first day, which doesn't surprise me. But I'm just going to have to suck it up.

MONDAY MORNING

My loud and obnoxious alarm goes off right in my ear. It was like a jump scare when I woke up. Summer is now over and it's time to actually use my brain for something.

I went downstairs to make me some cereal like usual and I saw my brother eating bacon, eggs and a orange juice as a beverage.

"You actually made a whole breakfast? Okay master chef." I joked.

"Oh please. You always eat just cereal and nothing else."

"And? What's wrong with that? At least I'm eating the good cereal and not the raisin brand cereal." I chuckled while shaking my head. Then pouring Cinnamon Toast Crunch into a bowl.

"That shit slaps sometimes." Max leans back in his chair.

"Yeah, sometimes." I made quotation marks with my fingers once I said sometimes.
