Knives. Guns. Swords. That was my childhood, in place of hugs, kisses, and school plays. My whole life I have been above others, and I'm glad about that.
My name is Melody Smith. I am the next CEO of the prestigious Smith company, and the daughter of the current CEO.
Before you ask- No, we are not hitmen, we simply require training that average people would not do. We are supposed to defend the company, but I use the advantages a lot better. It's better to use them to intimidate the people who are below me, the people who were made to serve perfect people like me to get what I need in this world.
Threatening to kill someone's whole family if they didn't give you what you needed is a lot more effective if you actually are capable of doing such things.
I'm not one of those dumb rich girl clichés, though. I'm glad I'm rich and stuff. I don't "wish to have a normal life".
Training was tough. It paid off, at least, I learned to load and shoot a gun (and hit the target) in 5 seconds when I was 11. I just turned fifteen.
I'm the only one who remembers my birthday, anyway.
I'm about to go to a public school to "blend in." I need to learn how to "act like other kids."
I need to act like them? The little people who are below me? Disgusting.
For now I can only hope that school is not as bad as I imagine it, and use my sword-like sharp personality to get what I need.
