Prelude
Prologue

In a not so distant past, not very far from this galaxy, is a galaxy similar to the Milky Way with planets that strive with life whom are also remarkably identical to us. The galaxy in question is yet undiscovered by Earth, but is called by its inhabitants: the Trajekhein Galaxy. Those planets lying in the galaxy are named Plagna, Zachier, and others, but less relevant to this story's plot, all with their own orbiting moons that were left unnamed. All of the planets do have their own races of dominant intelligent life, such as humans, and varying other animals that are so alike to the animals on Earth they're names will be left the same. However, the names of the humanlike races will be kept as they are. The dominant race on Plagna is known as the Plagnan, and on Zachier: Zachen. On one planet lying in the Trajekhein Galaxy is where this story takes off, its name was called Ignast.

Ignast was fairly far from Zachier and Plagna, located on the opposite side of the galaxy. It was a war torn planet with limited resources, its people struggling to survive in a world that was being progressively destroyed through their own selfishness. There were two ruling governments on the planet that were always trying to be better than each other. From the power of their super-weapons to the land they owned and occupied, they never ceased the competition. One of the Ignast's governments asked a group of brilliant scientists to assist them in order to create a genetically perfect super soldier with quick wits, high alertness, and incredible strength. The scientists agreed only by requesting compensation of food and the necessary equipment to manage such a feat, fully aware that their government had nothing else to pay them with. The scientists worked for many days, which became weeks, to become long months and escalated into countless years. At their level of scientific understanding of genetics, the DNA strand of their human race had already been decoded, so they only had to find out how to manipulate it. Previously, the planet's scientists had already discovered the importance of saving the DNA for possible future re-population of the species, and all had their genetic code stored and decoded. They used the gene codes from all the extinct animals from Ignast to figure how the sequences would need to be in order to benefit themselves. The DNA strands of these extinct species were going to help develop new beings.

A prototype was created two years after the request from the government. This prototype was a virus, the only name that it could be given because of its nature. The virus was to be injected inside the body of a living person and then attach itself to the blood cells of the host. It would change the genetic code of every single red-blood cell it encountered and at a fast rate. After the red-blood cells, it would go through the next stage to use the red-blood cells as maps to the host's body. With the information, the virus would then enter the final stage and spread outside of the blood stream effecting and manipulating all genetic material that comprised of the host's body. It would mutate in this nature and spread not only through blood, but also the host's tissue, bone, and so on. However, it had to be tested on a willing candidate. The scientists had a soldier offer himself as the first test candidate for the experiment for he figured if he wasn't going to die on the battlefield he may as well die trying to make himself ready for the next fight. Upon injection of the virus, things seemed to be going well at first, the man's body wasn't fighting the infection and only experienced a slight tingling sensation like small electric shocks around his body. The mutation progressed at a rapid rate, but when it should have ceased as his body changed into what they desired, the mutation did not. It continued uncontrollably as the man became demented and deformed, his arms became thin and lanky, and his legs were altered into thick, meaty trunks. His mouth became wide, stretching his lips until they were non apparent, and his eyes were elongated vertically like eggs and the eyelids bagged with multiple layers of skin. The scientists tried to stop the transformation, but the man broke through the containment cell they had him in with ease and disappeared.
