Before I know it, a high pitched scream escapes my mouth and my hands go to my head. Derek holds the gun at Jack, panting on the ground. Blood flows out of multiple wounds on both of them.

"Derek, you don't wanna do this! It's just a stupid fucking fight!" I tell out, as he turns his head, gun still at Jack.

He looks at the floor, "is this your boy?" He says deeply. My heart races a mile a minute, "yes," I say.

I watch him lower it, and start panting loudly. "I'll leave," he says. I sigh as he makes his way towards me, the door.

His shoulders shrug and I watch carefully until right as soon as he's by me, a fist goes to my cheek. I let out a cry, and hear him sprint out of the building. No one bothers to chase him, he'll end up in jail somehow.

My legs give out, I don't know what from. Exhaustion, Nervousness, or loss of blood flow. Jack stands up, and rushes to me, along with about 20 people.

"Fuck! Someone get that asshole!" He yells angrily. I pant as he places his hand on my cheek. He helps me to my feet, and notice Shawn, Cam, Nash, Sammy, Johnson, Aaron and Taylor by my side.

"Everyone out!" Yells Cam, to the people who haven't already. It takes about ten minutes for everyone to leave, but as soon as they do, I sigh.

Cameron brings me some frozen peas, "man it's like Kyle all over again," he says. I shrug, "he could've killed Jack. Hell, anyone of us!" I state.

Jack sits next to me, "fuck!" He says angrily. I grab his hand, "it's okay," he says. "No, it's not!" Yells Sammy from behind the couch.

I stand up, "I'm fine goddamnit! Everyone's always treating me like a fucking child!" I yell and throw the peas on the floor, and walk towards the door.

"Sam, come back.." says Shawn calmly. "I'll be right back. None of you follow me!" I say and walk out the apartment.

It's about midnight, when I get to the lobby. The manager is in his office, not even noticing me. The doors slide open, and I walk into the cool, Los Angeles air.

I'm surprisingly not cold, even though I'm wearing a bikini top and shorts. I cross the street, and reach the sand. I hear the water, and walk to the edge of it.

I squat down, at the edge of the damp sand and slide my fingers through my tangled hair. "Fuck," I say as I exhale loudly.

I stay there until my legs hurt, and just sit on the sand. I lean on my elbows for I don't know how long. "You alright?" I hear a deep voice asks. I sigh, frustrated, "I told you not to fucking follow me!" I say and get up to face Sammy.

He shrugs, still shirtless from the party. I stick my hands in my floral shorts, "did they send you out?" I ask. He sticks out his arm to me, "let's take a walk," he says and I walk with him. "Answer my question," I say.

He smiles, "no I mostly came out to make sure no one killed or took you. People do that to pretty girls," he says and I ignore the fact that he called me pretty. The water touches my toes as it moves onto the sand, then back out.

"I wouln't care much if that happened. My life is pretty screwed up," I say looking down. Sammy stops, "what the fuck? You know how many dead girls would like to be you? Hint, they died from being kidnapped," he says and I roll my eyes and sigh.

I turn my back to him, and look at the moon shining on the water. "Does your eye still hurt?" He asks, but I'm too lost in the moon and ocean. My feet move before I can think, and soon I'm in the water. "Sam, what the hell are you doing?" he asks shifting his feet.

I raise my eyebrow, and look at the moon as the water reaches my waist. "Don't you ever get tired of saying your own name around me?" I ask moving my arms.

He pauses, "no. Hey, come on get out." He insists. I think I still have some alcohol in my system so this probably isn't safe. "I'm okay," I say just as my vision blurs a bit. He sighs, "fine. If you're not coming out, I'm going in," he says. "Cameron and Jack will kill me if you drown," he says and I hear him enter the water.

I float on my back and smile, "remember when we almost hooked up," I say stupidly. He chuckles and a wave splashes over us. "Sorta," he says.

I pull my body all the way under, letting the salt water engulf me. For a second I feel like not going back up, well apparently a lot of seconds because Sammy has to pull me up.

He hold me up by keeping his hands locked around my waist. "Okay this little swim sesh, is over. Let's go back to the apartment," he says and throws me over his shoulder.

I'm too loopy to fight back, so I let him do that until we're in the building. He sets me down in front of the door, and opens it. I manage to walk to the couch, still soaking wet.

The only person I see is Aaron, "what happened?" He asks. Sammy is just coming back with a towel. "Went for a little swim," he says and covers the towel on me.

I grab it and hold it against me because I'm cold now. I laugh, "where's the rest?" I ask. Aaron looks around, "I don't know," he says. Sleepiness has swept over my body so I'm pretty sure I just pass out right there.

*dream

I lay helpless, and breathless under the Pacific. The water is warm, but freezing at the same time. I call Jack's name, but he's not there to pull me out. Soon I have no air left in my lungs and I'm back in Atlanta.

"Get down here you," my mother yells at me. I appear in her presence. "Your a shitty person and a bitch," I spit and she slaps me. I turn my head with the movement of her hand. When I turn it back, I'm staring at Derek.

Instead of his hand, its a gun. "I'll shoot you now." he states and I hear a scream, much like mine, but my mouth is shut.

I hear the boom, and soon I'm in the water again. Kicking and kicking until my legs go numb. I call his name again, but it's not him who saves me from drown. Its Shawn.

*reality

My eyes fling open, my hear racing. I stare around the dark room, and feel that I'm on a bed. I sit up, no one to be heard or seen.

I stumble to the wall, and slide my hand across, looking for a light. I find one and flip it on. The room is plain and just a bed, and just me. No Jack... or Shawn.

I open the door and see Cameron's apartment from the street light and moonlight. "Jack," I whisper loudly. My bare feet move heavily across the wooden floor. What time is it? How long have I been asleep, and how'd I get there?

I jump at the sound of a phone. Light shines over the device and the name Gilinsk appears. I rub my eyes and answer, "Jack where the hell are you?" I ask getting paranoid, and look around the seemingly empty apartment.

Jack sighs, "I can see you, walk over here." but the voice isn't Jack's...

"Kyle?" I ask rubbing my temple.

I look around the room, getting scared now. I walk into Cameron's room, and see a person sleeping. Thank God.

I run to their side and shake them. Is it Cam?

The other line goes silent and soon off. I set the phone down and shake the person.

They turn and I see its Shawn. Does it have to be him? Why can't it be Taylor or some other shit. Where the fuck is Jack. I'm so fucking confused.

"Shawn what the hell is going on. Where is everyone?" I ask. He sighs and sits up, rubbing his eyes with his thumb and index finger. "Huh?" He asks.

I sit on the bed, "where is everyone?" I ask feeling emotions coming on if I don't get an answer. I'm mostly freaking out because Kyle answered Jack's phone.

I close my eyes for a split second, and its not Shawn who sits in front of me. It's him. Kyle.
