Paige's pov
16 and never had an actual boyfriend unless you count the ones from books that I'm mentally dating. I've read countless books and still haven't found a single reason to date a real human. It's like I'm on an island full of nothing but pages of romance that I'll never be able to be like. I love that little coffee shop down the street... I go there every once in a while to read and enjoy a good cup of coffee with a brownie of course.I see people come and go as I sit there for hours. I'm slowly falling in love with park from Eleanor and Park. I get sent home when the little coffee shop closes. The barista tells me "the shop is closing time for you and your little book to go home. Hope to see you soon". I'm guessing hope to see you soon is their motto because when everyone leaves they say it like they are a robot.
Hunter's pov
for me I've dated a few girls but never found myself in "love". I'm not the type of guy that reads and drinks coffee. I go to the weird coffee shop when my mom wants coffee and she begs me to go get her some. I guess you could say I'm tall I'm 6'3 and I have brown hair. I'm 16 and failing a lot of my classes.I walk into the coffee shop right before to closes and it my surprise there is a girl sitting there reading a book called Eleanor and Park or something like that."can I get a peppermint coffee to go?" I ask the waitress. I hand her the money and sit down until my order is ready. The girl never looks up from her book she stares at it blankly and turns the page every once in a while but for me I can't stop looking at her."I have your drink ready sir"the waitress calls as I grab my drink and leave the coffee shop and head home.
