Meeting Him.

It was a lovely day in Arendelle, the sea water splashed so carelessly against the fishing docks. Amber eyes filled with wonder looked across the seas that the sun bled through and shined upon, those eyes belonging to Kristoff Bjorgman. The blonde man walked across the peer, his husky body making the wood beneath him quiver ever so slightly. He felt the ambitious sun grace his blonde locks and freckled face as the sea water gave brisk kisses of droplets onto his skin. He sighed in relief at the exhilarating moment before he heard excited heels approach his hind. Delicate arms wrapped around his sides as a joyful Anna rubbed her head against his back. He shifted in slight surprise but soon adjusted to the motion.

" You're up early, " Kristoff started, slipping his hands around her wrists and gently moving them away. " Well, I have to be! You know today is the Cornucopia Ball! " She reminded in a sing songy tone. " Unless you forgot, " Anna gave a suspicious eye to the taller. " I... Might of, " Kristoff rubbed the back of his neck, a bit flustered. " My bad, I've been out of it, " He sighed softly. Anna leaned upwards to peck his cheek, lovingly. " Well you always have me to remind you when your head rolls off your shoulders, " She muttered. His face turned a new shade of red as she giggled endearingly. " Remember, me and Elsa will be at the mess hall until 10 pm, that's when the party starts, " She twirled on her heels to walk away before pausing. " Wait, " Her big blues peeked back at him. " What are you gonna wear? " She inquired. He dug in the back of his brain just to come up with no conclusion. " I'll get something nice, wouldn't want to embarrass you Princess, " He teased, crossing his arms. She snickered before trailing off the docks and to the kingdom.

Time passed, minutes turned into hours. And casual small talk turned into arguments.

Hans ran his fingers through his brunette locks as he stared back at his reflection. He heard his brothers-years to a decade his elder-bickering amongst themselves, no doubt about him. He huffed through his nose and peaked out of the restroom to look at the circus outside. " Look! It's the kingdom's clown! So great we have to drag his sorry ass all the way back to the place where he embarrassed the Westergaard name, " The middle brother jeered. " If it was up to me, we would've thrown the loser overboard! " Another brother snarked. After an earful of useless jabs, Hans decided being cooped up in the washroom would be the best for a plethora of reasons.

He was the laughing stock of not only his family, but kingdoms far and wide, as far as the word of the ' failed homicidal prince ' could reach. A dumb plan for sure, but living to experience the backlash was worst than just dying on the spot. Why the hell would they even keep him around? Purposefully just to ridicule him? If he was so bad, why didn't they send him away? If they wanted him to redeem himself, why throw his past sins back into his face everytime he attempted to atone? Siblings can be ruthless of course, but the constant bashing of his character was far from worth staying in the Southern Isles.

The boat had an abrupt stop. ' We're here ? ' Hans thought to himself. A loud bell rung as his answer, they were here.

Hans was going to exit the bathroom until he realized he wasn't dressed. He looked at his body as he noticed he looked rather famished. Soft hands ran against his freckled flesh, his pale skin being covered by a fancy suit. Luckily, it wasn't tarnished or sabotaged to look silly. At least from his view it wasn't. Splashing a slick wave of water on his face before slipping on his sleek gloves were the last things he needed to do before walking out.

His siblings ran out of the corridors, scolding each other or laughing all the way. Hans followed close behind but made sure to keep his distance. He felt his mother's soft hand on his shoulder as she gave him a soft smile. " Let's make today different, okay? " She cooed softly, opening her arm for him to assist her off of the ship. He blinked blankly before realizing. He linked their arms, " I strive to do better, " He sighed in sorrow. She resonated with the pity in his tone but didn't say anything.
