With my backpack on my back and my book in my hands, I shuffled down the hallways of Iridium High. I kept my little head down, avoiding the harsh glares from my peers. Being new, I was going to be considered fresh meat. Just another person to terrorize.
Mid thought, I was sent to the ground causing a sharp pain to surge through my body and my papers flying everywhere. As I looked up to find the source of my fall, I met eyes with a tall looking brown eyed and brown haired boy.
"Hey." I quietly said.
"Hi." He said with a smile that could make any girl go crazy for him, like what was happening now.
"Sorry about that. I'm Jax. Jax Novoa." The boy said.
"It's fine. I'm Marie. Marie Zonington." I explained.
"How bout I take you out for pizza after school to make up for your little fall." Jax suggested.
"Little too fast ehh?" I asked. A blush crept on to his cheeks causing me to giggle.
"I'm kidding. And sure, pizza sounds great."
"See you at the 7 at 6?" He asked.
"See you then." I exclaimed as I limped away, causing him to chuckle to himself.
