Kinuha ko ang lip gloss mula sa aking drawer. I'm still contemplating if I should wear light makeup or just go there with my bare face?
It's not like Ryo and I will go on a date? Mag-aaral lang naman kami. Ngunit may parte sa'kin ang kinakabahan. Siguro ay dahil ito ang pinaka-unang pagkakataon na makikipagkita ako sa ibang lalaki at higit sa lahat ay gusto raw ako sabi pa ni Irene.
I sighed. I ended up not using anything but my concealer and lip gloss. Sobrang bida-bida na kasi 'tong eyebags ko dahil sa kakapuyat. I should at least cover it to look more decent.
Venge:
Mas importante sa movie time na'tin?
Halos matawa ako dahil na-iimagine ko ang naka pout niyang mga labi. Sorry Venge but I'm trying. I really should make the line visible because I couldn't recognize it any longer.

I bit my lower lip to stop myself from laughing. Natigil lang 'yon nang tumunog ang cellphone ko at nakitang si Venge ang tumatawag.
"Hindi ka talaga pupunta? Susunduin kita diyan."
"Hindi nga. Magrereview ako, Venge."
"Then let's review together."
"As if." Hindi ko napigilang mapairap.
The last time he asked me to come over to their house para mag-review, we ended up watching Outer banks. I enjoyed the pogues and kooks kaya hindi ko na namalayan noon ang oras. And I lowkey felt the same with Pope in the series. He secretly likes Kiara but she likes John B. He kept it a secret because they're friends and 'no pogue on pogue mackin', alright.
Falling in love with your friend is risky. You wouldn't know what you get and what will be left for you in the end. It's better to stop now than to regret it later.
"Wala talagang chance?"
Nahigit ko ang paghinga ko. Wala nga ba talagang... chance?
"Clingy mo." I faked a snort.
"Sige ka, iba iimbitahin ko dito." Pananakot niya.
"Sure," I smirked.
"Tatawagan ko si Marga siya na gagawin kong bestfriend." Halos matawa ako dahil para talagang bata!
"Chat ko ibang girls na willing maging bestfriend ko."
"Ok." Mas lalo akong nagpigil tumawa.
"Tangina hindi effective." I heard him murmured. I laughed even more.
"Sige na. Let's watch movie na lang kapag tapos na exam." I only said it to stop him from tempting me.
Isang pilit pa talaga, doon na ako pupunta. I bit my lower lip. I already said yes to Ryo. Ayoko namang paghintayin at paasahin 'yong tao sa wala.
After ending the call, I finished dressing up and went downstairs. My steps slowed down when I saw dad sitting on our couch. May mga papeles itong binabasa habang nagkakape. He eyed me from head to toe and I can see the disagreement in them.
