After your episode in front of your inner group, you practically shut everyone out and avoid them at all costs, skipping meals and making others give them their missions.

It has been a week, and Dream has tried to see you every day, as do Cross, Horror, Killer, and Dust. You definatly feel guilty for shutting yourself away so suddenly but you can’t bear to face them, they had seen you at your weakest point and you were far too prideful to feel okay about that. The corruption made your pride much worse than normal.

You are sure to get over it soon, but at the moment, you feel humiliated. And now, here you were, sitting on the floor of your bedroom, crying.

You pitied yourself, and you hated it...

There’s a bang on your door and you freeze, tears still falling from your teal socket. A voice curses and your eyesocket widens as you recognize the voice as Ink’s. You are on your feet in an instant, more quiet and graceful than even you could expect.

“who’s room is this? nightmare’s, huh” the voice asks and the knob jostles in a turn, failing at the lock. “crap, it’s locked” Ink quietly exclaims and you grin, humiliation and guilt turning into anger, something you are great at managing.

You wipe your socket and stalk towards the door quickly, unlocking it quickly as it jiggles again. Ink sockets grow wide as he meets your own, “why, hello there” you say, grin wide like the one you gave him as you ripped his arms away from his body. “i do hope you recoupirated well, it wouldn’t be any fun if you were still so very helpless”, Ink’s eyelights shift to red targets.

“i wonder why you wanted to get into my room, or more importantly how you got here in the first place” you say, wrapping Ink in a tendril before he can process and restraining his limbs. You let out a pulse of your strong magic, alerting your inner group of your location.

Cross and Dream are at your side in an instant, Killer coming behind Dream and Horror and Dust taking just a couple of minutes. “looks like we have an intruder, boys” you say, squeezing Ink as your brother trembles, probably tramuatized by Ink. “killer, take dream to the kitchen and have the chefs make him something warm” you order, Killer nodding before blipping away with Dream.

“oh, i’ve got it!” you exclaim, startling those around, “you were fighting with the destroyer weren’t you?!” you inquire, spotting fresh wounds and bits of bright blue string. “he’s the only one who could enter this place without my or dream’s permission”, you smile even wider, looking at those by your side, “we’ll have to express our gratitude to him, won’t we boys?”, they all chime out with a, “yes, boss”, completely in synce.

“maybe we should destroy a couple of those really unfortunate universes-” you start, thinking a bit, “like flowerfell, i hate that one” you say and hear murmurs of agreements from your crew. Ink growls and shouts at you, struggling in your grip.

You laugh, noticing your boys smiles, “what a gift!” you exclaim. Your tendrils tighten around Ink until you hear a cracking sound, lightening up only a small amount. “however-” you mutter, “i don’t appreciate the timing”. You open a portal that stretches over a vast body of open water, no land in sight, and another that is just a outertale timeline.

“hmm, i’m gonna find all your greatest fears slowly” you say, looking at Ink with a smile as his sockets widen in fear. You toss Ink’s brush away in the outertale timeline before breaking away each of Ink’s limbs again, laughing at each harsh cracking noise despite the discomfort that radiates from your group.

You toss the limp body of Ink into the water, along with his detached limbs, watching as he struggles and fails to stay afloat in the water before being dragged under by a small wave. You chuckle under your breath before standing up and closing the portal, “welp, took care of that problem!” you exclaim, taking a step towards your door.

You’re stopped by Cross holding your wrist and your tendrils give a flick of reluctant restraint. Your smile is now gone and you feel your guilt quell up again. You grit your teeth together as Horror, Cross, and Dust herd you into Dream’s room where he and Killer are waiting.
