Squad 7

Chapter 1.

Liv Nakamura, of the Nakamura clan hidden in the leaves. The great medical ninja clan. This clan possessing a great abundance of chakra sealed at major chakra points with the clans crest a diamond. Healing ones self or others is their forte, but some who possess a greater amount of this kekkei Genkai have the power to steal or supply chakra to ones comrade or enemy.

As a genin I have already harnessed these powers, as head medical practitioner my father had me training day and night as soon as the clan had caught wind that I had theses extraordinary powers. The very first in the clan in over two decades to have the chakra Possession kekkei genkai. The ability to control an opponents chakra is a huge advantage, a game over if I ever master my kekkei genkai. On top of clan culture and training, I did hours of taijutsu, increasing my speed and strength as well as ninjutsu, hitting targets with my needles and kunai, mastering techniques like, water possession, shadow clones and multiple other ninjutsu styles, as well as perfecting my own jutsu, an energy ball jutsu. By collecting my own chakra energy and the  energy around me that the earth gives off I can create a rasengan type of energy to use against an opponent. Genjutsu I never got the hang of, even spending hours meditating, I could only realize it and know now to release the illusion, I could never make one my own. Spending hours alone as a child with my parents always gone and no siblings left me with nothing other to do than practice my abilities. This left me Lonely at times but when I had enrolled into the academy things had changed a bit. I met lots of new friends and people who aspired to have abilities like my own with the highest test scores in the class. But there was another, just like me. Sasuke, he had the Sharingan. Kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. His abilities and strength were outstanding, and quite a smart young man. Sasuke and I were often placed as partners, sharing the same skill level, we went weeks without speaking a word to each other, just an impressed glance every now and then.

As the weeks went on and I continued to partner up with Sasuke, I started to noticed the glares from the other girls in the class, especially ino and Sakura. Fawning over Sasuke was never really my cup of tea, I had always seen him as an equal.

Throwing my kunai, making a bullseye at the target, I turn to the group of girls gawking over Sasuke.

"So what's you're guys deal with Sasuke anyway?" I ask them with a tiny smirk

I felt Sasukes glance on me as girls began to fidget not knowing what to say.

"W-what's your deal with Sasuke? You're the one always partnered up with him" ino sneered back "it's like you're obsessed with him or something"

"I hate to break it to you ladies but instead of focusing on Sasuke and worrying about me, you should be listening and training with Iruka sensei if you ever want to make chūnin"
I heard Sasuke and the rest of the boys around me chuckle as sensei butted into the conversation

"You know girls, Liv may be right, the only one I've seen practice out of this group is Sakura, partner up and get to work" he tells them with an enthusiastic smile, handing them each a kunai knife.

I smirked to myself a little going to pull my kunai out of the target, it wasn't ment to be condescending I just don't understand what the deal is. 

"That was bold of you" Sasuke raised an eyebrow at me

"Well, do you like them drooling over you?" I giggled a bit "I just don't get it, you're a cool guy and all but those girls are crazy" Sasuke seemed surprised  by what I had said, like he had never met a girl who wasn't obsessive over the Uchiha boy. He threw the kunai landing it in the same exact spot I did, digging the hole deeper. "Nice shot" I tell him

" you're not as annoying as I thought you were gonna be" he smirked cheekily.

" you wouldn't know, you don't talk to me enough to know if I'm annoying or not" I rolled my eyes. It was true it had been weeks and Sasuke and I had only exchanged glances.

" there you go with being bold again, slightly more annoying."  I liked this banter between us, this had never happened before " you're turn" he gestured.

As the lesson went on not much more talking had happened between the two of us, as iruka sensei dismissed us.

As everyone started to disperse as quickly as possible, I found myself alone with Sasuke.

"Hey, uh nice job today Sasuke, maybe want to walk back to the village together ?" I questioned the boy had his back turned to me, again his reaction was one with a bit of surprise.

He turned to me with a small smirk "do I have a choice?" This time it took me by surprise, was he really as much of a dick everyone said he could be. "Come on loser, let's go" he tells me waving me over next to him as I jog to catch up. Now by his side I found myself struggling to find something to strike up a conversation about.
" so you're Liv, of the Nakamura clan " Sasuke stars " your clan has a bloodline full of powerful medical ninja and the highest level of chakra concentration and word on the street is you're kekkei genkai is very unique. "

I looked over at him " now you're the one being bold, but yes my kekkei genkai was assumed to be extinct over a decade ago, turns out it runs in me"

" so what is it? Have you mastered it? I'm still working on my sharingan " he tells me

" well im not really supposed to tell anyone it's a clan secret.. the jutsu should be forbidden but it's not" I explain as we walk the path out of the woods

"Can't you just tell me already?" He insisted
