Today is the day of the gala. You don't know how to feel.

Happy? Because you're leaving and you can finally go back to your normal life.

Or

Anxious? Because you have the pit it your stomach, that's telling you something will go wrong.

To this day, you and Hotch have no idea what Gaetano was doing out in the backyard or what Theresa told him quietly. Your boss instructed you to let it go, to stop you from overthinking. You were mainly scared another panic attack would happen during the party and you would have to finally tell Spencer about them.

You know you have to tell him, but you can't put another distraction on his life when you're in the middle of an undercover mission. It's stupid not to tell him, you know he would give his full support to help you through them.

But did you need help? It was just one small panic attack.

It's nothing, right?

Knowing that only one person knows about them, calms you down a little bit. Yet the small chance of Derek telling the team, lingers in your mind.

Now you were staring at the ceiling of the master bedroom, you and your boyfriend resided in. You woke up to his loud snores and you wanted to hit him with the pillow, so badly. But you let him get his beauty sleep.

You twiddled with your thumbs, until the sun started to rise. There was noise coming from downstairs, indicating that Morgan was awake making some random breakfast smoothie. Spencer started to stir, making you move your attention to him.

"Good morning, sweet girl." he whispered, his voice deep and raspy.

"Morning, baby boy." you teased, knowing he didn't like the nickname.

"Ready for tonight?" he asked, moving onto his side to look at you.

"Yes and no. I am scared something will happen and none of us will expect it." you answered, scooting closer into his chest.

"Stop thinking about that. The team has been over preparing since we stepped foot in this house. We know every step they will take. And I know we both can do our jobs without messing up." he reassured you, placing a kiss on your forehead.

The rest of the morning, the two of you spent in bed, ignoring the loud noises from the first floor. Thankfully, nobody came to check on you both. Spencer got up first to take a shower and you spent that time cleaning up the room a bit.

He stepped out of the bathroom, towel hanging low from his waist. You stared down his body, you would be lying if you said he didn't get more buff after the insane training. Looking back up to his face, you saw that stupid smirk.

That cocky bastard.

Walking to the closet, you grabbed your clothes, heading to the shower. Taking the bun out of your hair, you turned the element to the warm section. The shower was quite quick to your liking. Knowing that tonight was one of the most important events of this mission, you wanted to be on schedule.
