Mary's POV
After Tywin locked me in the closet to protect me, i heard a supremely loud bang noise. I wasn't sure if it was my husband trying to knock someone down with his sword, but their shield got in the way, or if someone was trying to knock him down. Either way, all I knew is that I was not coming out of that closet until I knew it was safe, or that it was Tywin getting me out of there. When the banging noise stopped I heard footsteps coming near where Tywin hid me. My breathing stopped for a moment because I had no idea who was coming near me. As soon as the closet door, I screamed and closed my eyes.
Tywin's POV:
I had beat the person who tried to attack me and my wife. My guards took him away to the dungeon then went back into my chamber to check on my wife. As soon as I open the closet door she screamed from fear. But, once I knelt down to help her up, she opened her eyes and look relieved. I put my sword away and then headed to help her get up. Mary used my hands to get herself up and walked back with me to our bed. Once we got into our bed, I pulled her to my chest and whispered in her ear,"Go back to sleep darling, everything is okay we're safe, I love you." In the morning, I ended up waking up before Mary and I gently got up without waking her up. I went to get dressed to go the the Tower of the Hand to get the work done. After a while of working on some papers, I heard Mary come in and sit down on the other side of the room.
I went over to her because when I looked up she looked like her mind was in another world. Once I reached Mary, I tucked her hair behind her ear and said,"My lady, are you okay? You look like you are in another world." She replied with,"No I am not really okay my lord. I am still scared and terrified from what happened last night. I am also worried about it happening again." I held my hand out for her, she took it and got out of the chair. I pulled her into a hug and said,"My lady, darling, I promise I will keep you safe and make sure you do not have anything happen to you while I am around. As long as you stay near me mainly in public, but also in private, you will be safe." Mary replied with,"Okay, I believe you." "I love you my lady." "I love you too my lord."
