Naalimpungatan ako bandang mga alas tres ng madaling araw. Patay na ang ilaw pero ang liwanag na nanggagaling sa table ni Drake ay naroroon parin. Naabutan ko pa siyang gising at nakatitig sa kanyang laptop.

I got up, and he looked over at me. Even in the dim light, I could still see the seriousness in his eyes, illuminated by the glow from his laptop.

"Aren't you going to sleep?" I asked, yawning and rubbing my eyes.

"I'll be going to bed soon. Why did you wake up?" he asked.

"Naalimpungatan ako." Sabi ko at bumaba sa kama. "Hindi ka pa ba tapos dyan?" Tanong ko at lumapit sa kanya.

"I finished my project a while ago, I've just been busy with our upcoming wedding. I've been looking for a venue where we can hold the ceremony," he said.

Napatingin ako sa laptop niya, napansin ko ang ilang beach roon na kung saan may mga naka disenyong catering. Ilang samples ata iyon na hinahanap niya.

"I don't know if you'd want to have our wedding on the beach. Marcus mentioned that it's what most women want," he added.

I smiled, feeling a warm touch in my heart. It seemed he asked Marcus about these preparations. For me, it was a dream come true, to get married by the sea while the sun sets.

Nilingon ko si Drake, tumango at ngumiti ako sa kanya.

"Gusto ko." Sabi ko at tinuro ang naroroon sa laptop niya. "Gusto ko sa beach, kahit naman maghihiwalay din tayo kaagad ay gusto kong ma experience iyon."

His jaw clenched, not liking what I said. To my surprise, he grabbed me by the waist and lifted me onto his lap. I even felt the strap of my lingerie top slip off.

I was startled when I felt his fingers gently touch my arm, adjusting the strap of my lingerie back onto my shoulder.

"Why do you always talk about us separate?" his husky voice that sent shivers down my spine.

"D-dahil iyon ang totoo."

Inayos niya ako ng upo sa kandungan niya para mas lalo akong mapalapit sa kanya, napahawak ako sa kanyang dibdib sa gulat na magdikit kami ng tuluyan.

"Sa tingin mo talaga papayag ako na makikipag hiwalay ka sakin pagkatapos nating ikasal?" Nahinuha ko sa boses niya na tila natatawa siya na ewan, iniisip niya atang kalokohan ang ibig kong sabihin.

"Drake diba sabi mo ay pupwedeng mangyari 'yon?" Tanong ko sa kanya nakakunot ang noo.

"Do you really think I'd let you go? After all this time apart, you think I'd just let you slip away once we're finally together?" he said with a playful tone.

I was annoyed by what he said, so I smacked his chest.

"Kahit kailan hindi ka marunong tumupad sa usapan!" Galit na sabi ko at muli siyang hinampas.

He quickly grabbed my hand, holding it firmly but gently against his chest.

"You love me, don't you? So, there shouldn't be any reason for us to break up." he said tenderly.

Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya, papaano niya nalaman 'yon? Oh wait! Kailangan kong itanggi 'yon.

"Hindi kita mahal!"

He laughed softly. "It's easy to say, but I can see the truth in your eyes. So, what reason do you have to break up with me if you truly love me?"

Nakakainis! Pakiramdam ko ay na trap ako sa lalaking 'to. Kung iisipin ay parang pakulo niya lang lahat ng nangyayari. Pero alam ko ding hindi dahil si Clara ang gumawa ng lahat na ito. Siya ang dahilan kung bakit ako na trap sa lalaking 'to.
