"Na jane kyun bahut dar lag rha hai mujhe, He dugga maa sab teek toh hoga na."
Bondita said with eyes full of tears and hope.
"Bondita! Bondita!? Kahan ho tum?
A re dekho sab tumhara niche intezaar kr rhe hain aur tum yahan jhule per baithi ho? Chalo jaldi."
Anirudh said it in one go without noticing the hesitation in Bondita's eyes.
"Pati babu?" Bondita said softly.
Anirudh felt somewhere his little Bondita is afraid to go to London without him. It's not as if he didn't care about her but he wanted her to be self-dependent and self-sufficient.
He wanted to make Bondita an inspiration for other girls.
Anirudh took a deep breath and turned.
"Bolo" Anirudh said with smile on his face as always.
"Aapne hamesha mujhe samay ki mulyata ke baare mei bataya hai toh kya aaj aap thoda samay de sakte hain mujhe?"
Bondita asked Anirudh, her eyes bleaming.
"Haan kyun nhi, kaho! Tumhari baaton ko main na suno, ye kabhi ho sakta hai kya!?"
Anirudh went and sat beside Bondita.
"Bahut dar lag rha hai mujhe,
Main...main...mujhse nhi hoga ye Pati babu!
Nhi jaa sakti main aap sab ko chorker!
Aur aap mujhe bhejne ke liye itna jiid kyun kr rhe hain! Nhi chahte aap ki main aapke saath rahon." Bondita said weeping.
Anirudh was just smiling throughout but his eyes weaved an altogether different story.
He too didn't want to send Bondita but he had to!
He had to complete the responsibility, he took 6 years back! He had to make Bondita a successful and inspiring person who can make revolution in the society! He had to complete his promise, he gave to Bondita's mother.
"Bondita, aacha batao jara..Jab tumhara vivah hua tab tum aana chahti thi kya apni maa se dur yahan iss ghar mei?"
Bondita nooded no, her eyes still wet.
"Aur jab tum yahan aai, kuch din yahan rahi uske baad tumhe yahan se kahin jaane ka mann nhi kr rha, hai na?"
Bondita nooded yes.
"Toh dekho, aisa hi hota hai, ham hamesha koi bhi cheez peheli baar krne se katrate hain lekin fhir baad mei vhi cheez hamein achi lagne lagti hai, aur agar tum London nhi jaogi toh kaise badlaav laogi yahan Tulsipur mei?Aur maine kaha na, tum bilkul chinta mat kro, main tumhe patr likhta rahunga. Haan!?"
Anirudh motivated Bondita as always.
Bondita nooded yes smiling and stood up. "Aap chinta mat kijeye Pati babu, Aapki ye Bondita mann lagaker padhai kregi aur aapka aur mera sapna jarur pura kregi."
"Hamara Sapna Bondita!" Anirudh too stood up, making the correction in Bondita's sentence.
"Haan yeh bhi keh sakte hain! Maine kaha tha na Aapka aur mera Sapna juda hua hai! Bataye toh jara jhoot bola hai kabhi Bondita ne?"
Anirudh laughed out loud but his eyes wet.
"Aap ro rahe hain kya Pati babu?"
"Main!? A re nhi! Aur abb jyada baatein nhi haan Bondita, jaldi Chalo Ship ka samay ho rha hai"
"Rukiye Biristara Babu" Bondita ran towards her room
"A re Bondita!?" Before Anirudh could complete his sentence Bondita was gone.
She quickly came back to the balcony hiding something behinding her back.
"Ye lijeye Pati babu" Bondita smiled and gave one coconut shell which had an half cut thread to Anirudh.
"Bondita ye"
"Haan! Aapko jab bhi mann kre mujhse baat krne ka toh kr lijeyega aap, apni mann ki saare baatein keh dijeyega aur main sun lungi" Bondita laughed.
Bondita stepped Forward towards Anirudh and bent down to take his Blessings. Anirudh didn't stop her as he thought she's touching his feet as a student.
Bahu! O Bahu! A re dher ho rhi hai, jaana nhi hai kya?"
Kaka Sasur ji called Bondita
"Aayi Kaka Sasur ji"
And before going downstairs, she turned back to Anirudh.
"Aur haan Pati babu, aaj ke shishya ne apne Shikshak ki nhi balki ek patni ne apne Pati ke pair chuye hain." And she ran downstairs.
A tear rolled down Anirudh's cheeks and fell on that Coconut shell
"Na jaane kaise beetega ye samay tumhare bina Bondita.
Kabhi kabhi toh lagta hai swarthi ho hi jaun aur na jane dun tumhe lekin uss sapne ka kya jisse ham dono ne milker dekha hai.
Tumhari uss hasi ka intezaar rahega jisse iss Haveli ki subhah hoti hai.
Aur uss awaz ka bhi jisse 'biristra babu' sunne ki aadat ho gyi hai mujhe.
Anirudh said wiping the tears from his cheeks still his eyes were filled with plethora of uncanny emotions.
"Main teri aakhon mei dekhun sapna mera.
Rishta tera mera
Rishta tera mera...."
