Chapter 53: Leaves

Shanel, I found that woman here in Lebanon. Pero masyadong mahigpit dito kaya hindi ko malapitan.

I stared at Kuya Ryle's message while I was walking. Napatayo ako nang tuwid dahil doon.

I immediately forwarded the message to Vince Matthew and thanked Kuya Ryle.

It has been a week since our investigation happened. Ate Sharly, Kuya Austin, Ate Shanty me and Vince Matthew knew about where our conversation with the driver, Conard Ramirez, went on.

Vince Matthew helped me to reach out Kuya Ryle, he's a student pilot now and already touring around the world. I was hesitating to ask him for help at first because I know that he's busy studying, but when we called him, he never think twice to help. By the way, Ate Shanty didn't know about this, that her ex-boyfriend was in this team.

I walked again and pocketed my phone. I was walking quickly but I halted when I saw two people beside the huge stairs.

They were both laughing while the guy's putting the necklace on the girl's neck. After successfully putting it, the girl turned around to kiss the guy's tip of the nose.

Bigla akong nanginig sa nakita.

Since when?

That was the question in my mind.

Since when did they start having a relationship? Since when are they hiding this to us? Or maybe sa akin lang kasi hindi ko nga alam.

I was surprised when someone pulled my arm and forced me to ascend the stairs. My eyes widened when I saw Zeus, he just gestured me to be quiet.

"Zeus---"

"This was my second time catching them in act," he whispered casually. "Sweet nila 'no? Sana all!" He chuckled bitterly.

"Do you like her? Are you jealous?" I asked.

"Jealous? Jealous my ass!" He chuckled. "I did like her before. But everything went wrong when I realized that..." He blinked his eyes before looking at me. "Ikaw? Sabi nila nag-date daw kayo ni Matthew noong isang araw ah? Saan kayo galing?" he asked.

"Hindi 'yon date!" I defended. He just chuckled more. "We just went to the jail..." mahinang sabi ko. Agad naman siyang napatingin sa akin.

"Jail? Haha, anong ginawa niyo roon?" he asked. Huminga muna ako nang malalim bago umayos ng tayo.

"Kinausap namin 'yong nakabangga kila Mommy at Daddy." He eyed me with a serious look.

"Huh? Anong sabi?" he asked with a curious tone.

"It's not an accident, someone told him to do so." I looked below to avoid him seeing my reaction.

"Huh? Someone? Sinong someone?" he asked. "Wait, naguguluhan ako." He shook his head.

"It's an unknown person as of now. Sana makilala na namin siya, I want him or her to suffer," I said. He just tapped my back.

Nang makarating sa tapat ng room, Zeus waved his hand to me and I just smiled a little before sitting on my chair. 

I stared at somewhere while thinking about them.

Hindi naman ako galit sa kanila, but why do they have to lie and keep it as a secret?

I thought we are friends?

On the other hand, baka naman bago lang sila? I don't know why I am so much affected with it. Maybe because I already like him too?

"Psstt!" I looked in front of me, my eyes widened when I saw Vince Matthew with a smirk. Napakurap pa ako sa gulat. My blockmates started teasing us again.
