It was a five hour drive that we started at four in the morning. Finally, we drove up to this gorgeous island, paradise.....or so we thought.

When we paid the toll in to the island, the land before us rose and we got pushed into a dome with no sun just a beaming, full, and cloudy moon. The island was an illusion, painted on the side of a dome of doom.

We tried to turn around to leave but there was no longer a toll or a dome wall, but a vast road with dark woods surrounding the creepy sides.

There then appeared a ticket on the change board in between the passenger and drivers seat. It read:

Welcome
Your home is #237 on Yolger Paradise Street
Here let me help.........

Slowly our car proceeded forward. My mom started screaming, for Dads hands did not touch the steering wheel.

We were pushed down several roads that all looked exactly the same... One abandoned looking house, one flickering street lamp, an eatery, and one empty general store. In between, more terrifying woods.

Then the car made a turn. We got pushed up to an abandoned looking house surrounded with dark woods that looked the same as all other roads.

Dad told us to stay in the car as he checked it out. When he came back he said there was no way out and we will have to stay here.

When I opened my car door Jack bounced out and ran away into the woods. No one went after him. Instead we all fell on our knees and started to cry out of terror.

Was this a dream? Will we die here? Who else is trapped?
