My dad has fixed up the place and it's really cozy now compared to what it looked like before (he used to be a construction worker). We have been living here, excuses me, trying to live here for about three quarters of a year, although, I don't even think it has turned the fourteenth yet. Bad luck still lurks the halls.

It's even getting kind of lonely here with out a school or neighbors. And Jack hasn't come back. I hope he is okay.

"Marie, mix the stew for dinner real quick!"

It was close to bed time and I was behind on my daily chores, which were all I had left of a normal life. Sleeping was just strange dreams about the eery town, city, island thing. what the heck, I don't even know where we are.

The dream I had that night was too familiar and real. It seemed like a hint to what I should do. How to turn on the light.
