Mystery Romance

Chapter 1

Lea POV

My name is Lea Johnson and I'm 15 years old; I have black curly hair with light brown eyes and I'm in foster care, yes; I know what your thinking how did I end up here right, did my parents die or something like that but no it wasn't like that at all. My parents are the most despicable human beings and I despise them, a lot.

 I'm glad I ran away from them but I'm also sad because I got put into foster care.  I've been in foster care for the past 5 years and it has been literal hell ,the other children here are pigs. I've been adopted twice but I always got send back to the home because I never spoke, I rarely ate the food made, I always stayed in my room and I found it  difficult to communicate with my foster parents.

 I know your probably thinking I should be happy I got adopted and was accepted into a new family but it doesn't give the same comfort expect from a home. As far as I know the past is in the past and the future still awaits me.

 Today a new family is coming to the home and Miss Rein says that they are very important people so everyone has to be on their best behavior. Everyone was in the assembly hall waiting for the new couple to arrive, and to be honest I was a little intimidated. Suddenly we heard the doors opened and everyone became silent as this exquisite couple with elegant clothes entered. They stood next to Miss Rein for a second before the man whispered something into Miss Rain's ear. 

After their whisper, Miss Rein came to the mic and said "Everyone from 11 to 16 please stay the rest may leave". After everyone left the couple started to address us.

 " My name is Alison Cooper and this is my husband, Kevin Cooper and we are looking for a new son/daughter so if you don't mind we will come around and talk to you all." I watched as they walked around, interacting with everyone. I think they are nice people but I don't want to get my hopes up because my self esteem makes me feel like no one will ever adopt someone who looks as thin as a wind screen wiper, and as gravely disgusting as me and then there was a shadow over me and when I looked up I saw the most heavenly faced woman in my life. She looked down at me with a very daring look but it seemed as if she had discovered some sort of innocent lamb.

"Hello sweet child and what may your name be?" she asked her voice as clear and sweet as caramel toffee.

"H..ii..i.. *gulp* my name is Lea."

"Well sweet Lea how would you like to go home with me today."
