I stand alone in the airport looking for a familiar face. I suddenly hear a familiar yet distant voice call my name.
"(Y/N)!!" The voice calls out. I turn to see my best friend and secret crush; Mark Fischbach.
"Mark!" I smile as I dropped my bags and run into his open arms. He lifts me up and spins me around as I continue to hug him.
"Markipoo I've missed you too and not that I don't love your hugs but you're crushing my lungs!!" I laughed.
He nervous laughed.
"Sorry I was just so excited to see you again (y/n)!" He smiled.
We grabbed my things and walked to his car. Mark and I were going to be housemates until I opened my store and could get settled down. Mark and I met in High School, where I fell in love. After High School, Mark moved out to LA to work on his YouTube career and I stayed in our home town to get a degree in business. Mark and I Skyped constantly to keep in touch. On the car ride to his house, we sang to our favorite songs loudly and off-key.
"When we get home, I'll give you the tour and then we can marathon Netflix!" Mark gleamed.
"You know me so well." I gasped as I put my hands over my heart.
When we got to his house, I got out of the car and loodat his house. The outside of his house was truly beautiful. While looking at his house, Mark ran in front of me and grabbed me. He carried me as you would a sack of potatoes and ran inside the house yelling out the rooms as he ran past them. I laughed as we entered what look like a guest room and he threw me on the bed. I laughed as I sat up on the bed and laid my head on the headboard. It had been a long flight and I wanted to rest but I love talking to Mark. He sat next to me, mimicked my position andturned on the TV to Netflix. I leaned my head on his shoulder as we watched Criminal Minds. I wanted to kiss him so bad, but I didn't know what his relationship status was.
"Hey (Y/N)?" He asked.
"Yeah?" I said looking up at him.
"Can I ask you something....." He questioned.
