As I ran after King in the dark depths of the night, I filled myself with questions. Where was he going? Why was he going out this late at night? I wasn't sure if I wanted to know the answers, but I had to investigate this suspicious behavior. He headed toward the city, which was lit up by the lights shining from tall buildings and shops still open. He wandered around the city a little more until he reached a glamorous green casino. He shouldn't even be old enough to gamble, what the hell is he here for?
King was stopped at the front door, as expected, but then after a bit of conversation, he was allowed inside. I wish I knew what was going on here, but maybe I should mind my own business. Plus, I don't wanna get in trouble for entering a casino when I'm only 17. My parents would be super mad if they found out I was gambling or getting into trouble while they were away.
Disappointed, I left the mysterious casino and walked back to the academy with the chilling wind blowing against me in the night.
