D'or looked out of her three story window while she laid in bed listening to classical romance music. She wished she could be one of those brides looking beautiful, floral and gorgeous on their wedding day. But deep down she knew she would never get that. She was a princess after all so she would have to marry some rich King for her Kingdom.

As she was deep in thought she heard her father King Kulu yell for her to come down for dinner. She pranced down the stairs, excited for her meal and to talk to her father about the Elvenland war. The war has been going on for 100 years, It is against the rich land and the poor people of Elvenland. D'or had always been so fantasized by the war wondering what it would be like to fight in it, she didn't really know why it was going on so she was planning to ask her father about it at their meal. Once D'or had made it to the large dining table she sat down beside her father, looking fantasized already excited about learning about the war.

Right as her father got to the table she started to plead with him

"Farther, I know you don't like it when I ask but can you please tell me about the war of Elvenland" she begged once again.

"Fine princess I will tell you about it but this is the only time you will hear of it" her father the king sighed.

"So it all started when us rich and royals found out that the poor were taking all the gold in their land for themselves. So the King at the time my grandfather decided he would start to make all of the poor work for us, they collected the gold so we could use it for ourselves. but of course the poor didn't like that so we had to force them to do it, we did this by saying they would be hung if they were not to show up to work for us everyday, so that's what started the conflict, the poor then began to get very mad and started the war with us, so since they won't give up and just realize the rich are in the right we will continue to fight with them for 100 more years"

D'or stood there astounded by the story her father had told her. She never knew how serious the war really was, after hearing the story she became sick to her stomach thinking of how her father was treating the poor in her world. While she was in the middle of thinking her father began to speak.

"Sweetheart, darling, you have to know that we are in the right and nothing will ever change that," he exclaimed, seeing his daughter's worried face.

"Okay father," D'or said in a calm voice realizing her worry was for nothing, she realized that her father was right, the rich were better as well as correct in this moral war.

"Farther I will be off now" D'or announced as she began to walk off in the direction of the royal gardens.

"Ok sweetheart I will see you in a little while, just know the poor are trying to fight us more than ever now, so be careful" her father said worried about his daughter and what could happen to her while she was alone.

As D'or was walking in the garden all she could look at was all the beautiful gold and white decorations in the gardens, as well as all the gorgeous flowers glistening from the golden sun shining down on them. Every so often she would turn around to look behind her, she had a feeling as if she was being watched and followed. But in all honesty she knew no one could get into the royal grounds without someone catching them so she knew she was safe here. However; she still felt as if someone was following her, every time she took a step she swore she could hear steps a few paces behind her on the path. D'or decided she would go through the hedge maze, it has been almost a year since she has done it so she was excited. She found it easy to find the center of the maze as she did every time, but no matter what turn she would make she could hear steps behind her. After about 30 minutes D'or decided to turn around and look for someone, right as she turned around she saw a man running toward her with a large bag. About 20 seconds after she was in pitch black screaming her heart out, D'or was terrified for her life. How had someone gotten into the garden she thought, while she frantically flailed her body around trying to get out of the gentlemen's arms. D'or feels herself getting lifted above the man's shoulder, she can feel him start to run. After about 10 minutes of the mystery man running with D'or over his shoulder they stop. D'or could feel herself get thrown into the back of something, most likely a wagon since that would be the most discreet way of getting away from the castle. She lands with a hard thud. She can feel a slight trickle of blood coming from her upper lip, she thinks nothing of it knowing her kidnapper won't care at all. D'or stays quite the whole time the wagon is moving, scared that she would get beat if she didn't keep her mouth shut. As she feels herself getting lifted out of the wagon she releases a sigh glad for the bumpy road to be over. Right after she started to get less worried she could feel a huge pain run through her whole body as she collapsed, knees giving out as she fell to the ground as her eyes slowly fluttered closed.
