Chapter Nine;

"Mmhm.." I groaned rubbing my head. My eyes fluttered open from the smell of strong coffee.urgh. I hate coffee;especially the smell of it. I struggled to keep my eyes open,everything was soo blury. My head was pouding. All I could hear was my name echoeing in my skull. "Aaliyah.." I kept hearing my name. I pushed my eyes open scanning the room. "Hmmm.." I hummed to my name. "Where am I?" I asked not knowing if anyone can hear me.  "Shhh!" I heard a familiar voice come over&sit on the bed as I pushed myself up with the energy I had left. "Here,drink some water" they insisted passing me a cup from the side. It took me a while to screw my eyes together&finally realised who it was. Diamond. But why?  

I watched her get uncomfortable through the awkward silence. "You was attacked by a gang last night.." She began. My eyes widened at the flash back. I was started to remember everything. "Don't worry, they didn't abuse you or anything. I arrived just in time." She smiled, "my bro&his stupid boys are sorry for what they did" she looked down. "It's all my fault." She shakes her head in shame. "How?" I asked quietly suprised. "Chresanto. He's done things before that just makes my bro mad. Their all after him but to scared to fight him so they hurt people around him. &i kind of told him about you, yahoo, since you guys are best friends" she finished. Umm.. Best friends?

"We'r-" I was cut off by the gushing slam at the door as my mum came storming on. "Hunnie! Are you okay?!" She paniced. How pathetic. It's all an act. Don't be fooled by her ways;she's probably just doing this because there's someone else in the room. "I'm fine mum." I flicked her off pushing her arms away. Just wait till we get home;I'm just preparing myself for all the excuses I'm going. To have to bring up&that would fail & ill end up being grounded with ass whoopings.

"Oh hello diamond" my mum greeted with surprise." Hello mrs brown" she smiled nervously. My mum never really liked diamond. She said diamond was some what '_trouble_' I should have listened to her. She was right. Although she didn't know about everything she did;my mum somehow always knew everything.

"Where have you been all this time" here we go. She's gonna start a conversation acting all innocent just to find out things about her&once diamond is gone;BAM! She gone start cussing&ho3ing that girl like its freestyle Friday night. I'm not even over exaggerating. When she cusses it sounds like busts rhymes speaking Chinese.. Scary?! Inoo.

I rolled over into my right side faceing away from them, I tried blocking them out by plugging in my headphones. I scrolled through my missed calls.

I think you get the picture. It goes on for another 4rows. It hurts me a little inside that my own best friend didn't even care. I haven't spoke to her ever since I got court by Audrey. At times like this; I think what's The point in careing about someone when they don't even take a second to think about you..

_i love you_ I mentally read the last message I got from Chresanto. He must of sent me this whilst I was talking to diamond. A tear trickled down my face, I quickly whiped it away at the thought if him that made me so angry yet so upset. That's the first time he's ever shouted at me. All those years I've known him. 

But hey, people change right... Maybe diamond has. The one person i least expected to be here.. Is here. Yet the ones I love&trust the most are too busy.
