Character Bios

Welcome to Outer Demons! This first upload is introducing the main cast of characters and gives some background before the story begins. 

Cassidy Dela Cruiz

Birthday: April 17th

Age: 19

Height: 5'7"

Cassidy is a generally quiet but sarcastic and fun girl. Though she does not have many friends, she has two really close friends, Alex and Nadia. She is well known around the school but she is usually over looked for one reason or another. She has a good head on her shoulders and 9 times out of 10 knows right from wrong. She tends to be the voice of reason and the deciding factor in many situations. She is blunt with her words and can typically tell it as it is. She may be blunt but means no harm, she is insecure about how she delivers her advice and just how she speaks in general. She knows she can be blunt and that it can come off as rude to people who do not know her well, which also is a struggle for her to make friends and maintain relationships.

Cassidy is defiantly the "tough love" type of person and she finds it hard to find other people to match her energy. When she is totally comfortable, she can be energetic and chaotic though she hates to admit to this side of herself. She has extroverted tendencies though she would ultimately call herself an introvert. Her home life is not broken or awful, she has both her parents, Elena and Marcus, and an older brother, Jackson. Jackson is the eldest Dela Cruiz child and Cassidy is the youngest. There was a middle Dela Cruiz child, Arielle, though at age 17 she committed suicide.

Cherry

Birthday: February 14th

Age: ??? (She's a demon, she's been around a while)

Height: 6'0" but she can change her height to appeal to who ever she is trying to attract

Demon Species: Succubus

Cherry is your typical narcissistic, hypersexual and overall impulse driven succubus. She was accidentally summoned by Cassidy when she discovered her family's ties to the underworld and has become her new companion along side Aaron. Cherry is loud and often speaks her mind, she has a lot to say and makes it her mission to make sure anyone who can hear her does. Her presence is intimidating and concerning at first, though when you become accustomed to her always being around you get used to her constant remarks and flirting. Cherry is well versed in reading the room and knows when to behave and be serious.

Her constant flirting and need for sexual gratification tends to get on the nerves of both Cassidy and Aaron, though Cassidy has an ounce more patience than Aaron. Cherry tends to flirt with Cassidy more than Aaron though she does not have any preference when it comes to, well, ya know. She will never admit to it, but through her hundreds of years of the constant need to scratch her itch for the climax, she has grown bored of her tied down lifestyle. Her higher-ups have noticed a pattern of her preferring to sideline her sexual mission for personal intimacy with whomever summons her. She has been reprimanded multiple times for her actions and through these punishments have only made the need for intimacy aside from sex greater.

Aaron

Birthday: June 6th

Age: ??? (Same boat as Cherry though he is slightly younger than her)

Height: 6'2"

Demon Species: Cambion

Aaron is the demon sent to accompany Cassidy as she discovers her lineage and her family's history. Aaron isn't particularly fond of Cherry's antics, as she is a succubus and he is a cambion. He is very calm and often annoyed with the world, both over and under, so it is hard to please him. He tends to be even more sarcastic than Cassidy to the point where no one really knows if he is being serious or not. He can be overly serious and half a stick in the mud, but he has his moments when he forgets himself and has fun, whether he likes it or not. The spontaneous nature of Cherry tends to rub off on Aaron though he is the ultimate voice of reason in the trio.

Aaron is the true demon bonded to Cassidy and Cherry is the primal bond between Cassidy and the underworld. Aaron definitely spends more time around Cassidy than Cherry because Aaron does not have any other duties as a demon besides being tied to Cassidy, where Cherry is one of two links for both Aaron and Cassidy to the underworld. Aaron has a love/hate relationship with himself as a demon, he wishes he could become human and not be associated with all the stereotypical hardships that demons are faced with. Though he will admit his powers and abilities are nice, he just wished people were more accepting of his kind, though he is technically half demon, half human. 

I know all this info seems pretty lackluster, but it will make the Intro/Backstory a bit easier to understand. The backstory is a flashback to 5 years ago in the story, at Arielle's funeral.
