I reached out to caress her arm but to no avail, as she shied away from my touch. I watched her as she packed her bag with tears stinging her flushed cheeks. I listened to the silent whimpers escape from her lips as a plethora thoughts ran through her head. I can't believe that this is it. She's gone.
