Green in the dark

The same dream as every night,her planet dieing,Krypton exploding and no one who survived.She was alone in the dark void of the universe.A single tear ran down her cheeck as she saw the last goodbye from her parents.Her mum,telling her she is loved,her dad hugging her one last time.Her thoughts were filled with fear and she was oh so scared.This dark void wouldnt let any happiness or hope grow inside her,she was an outsider,left behind while everyone she ever knew, everyone she ever loved,died as her planet exploded.She knew what would come next, her dream was always the same torture and this repitition was nearly the worst.There was no escape.So Kara waited for this dream to end as it always ended,alone in complete darkness wit tears streaming down her face.

But not so this time,something was diffrent this time.Kara had no explaination why, mayber it was because her destination, the earth, was near, maybe it was because her brain slowly started to go crazy,but she was not alone in this darkness.She couldnt explain it, but when she sat there and it was dark, there was like a small whisper,a soft childrens voice:"I am here,hey your not alone"

Kara thought of how her imagination must have tricked her this time.What a beautiful thought, that she wasnt alone and left by everyone anymore.But even in her young age she was realistic and she definitly knew that dead means dead and that she lost everything.This dream wasnt as bad as the others and it wasnt even that dark.There was a smal glowing,and the glowing was in the color of fresh grass.

She woke up in the progress while her pod made its way through the atmosphere.Then she got attacked.But not from the outside,it was a flash into her mind.Everything was green.Not the same green as in her latest dream,darker what was not necessarily ment it was less beautiful in any way.It was a shade of green that caught Karas attention directly,it was deep and mysterious and still somehow made her feel warm.The color was there on her first moments and they stayed in her mind.Beautiful green,that showed her a beautiful meadow in the sun,cliffs and the wide,stormy sea.The vision of this was in her head only for a few seconds but it helped Kara concentrate.

With a loud noise and Kara getting shaked through the whole pod,she arrived on this new planet with the name earth.It was 24 years later then planned but she made her way through the universe against all odds.Only a few moments passed and suddenly someone opened her pod.

A Young Man stood in front of her,he seemed strong and smiled down at her.She tried to smile, maybe show him that she was peaceful.Then Kara realized the symbole on his chest,her family symbole,the house of El.

She was confused,who was this man? Her Father must have died with Krypton and so must his brother Jor El.But...that would mean.No ,he is supposed to be a baby.

Kara hesitated."Kal?"The mans eyes were filled with confusion but also his eyes blinked friendly."They call me Clark here..." then his voice became more interested and nearly,hopeful."Who are you?"

Karas eyes fell on their symbole,standing on her chest,accusing her in a mocking way,"stronger together" but she has lost everyone still.Now this man stands here,just the same symbole as hers on his chest and Kara had no Idea how in Raos name the baby Kal-El became this grown up man now?As he looks at her waiting for an answer Kara tried to speak:"I...You...Kal?How are you..?! What?

Then her vision blurried and she fainted away.She didnt felt the soft arms of her cousin around her,carring her away as if she was made out of glass.She didnt felt the air floating around them or the cape that was wrapped around her.She directly dropped into another dream.

This dream was diffrent than any dream she had before,Kara noticed it right away.Probably because it wasnt her own dream but how could she notice that?

She dreamed of a young girl,with dark raven hair,but Kara only saw her back because the girl definitly searched something.She was not that young,maybe 2 or 3 years younger then her, she must be 11 or 12, something like that,but Kara felt a sudden urge to protect her.She stood in right this green meadow in the sun that flashed through Karas mind not to long ago and helped her arriving in this new enviroment,this new planet.

However the dream took a sudden change as the girl found what she searched for,a small deep lake not to far away.The beautiful sun hid behind dark thunderclouds and this lake seemed dark and silent as a monster, waiting for the perfect moment to attack.It was creeping Kara out and she saw the small girl  shivering with her whole body.A whisper left the girls lips while she stared at the silent water and a reflection of herself.Kara only understood one word, and it was "Mummy"

She slowly came nearer,she wanted to comfort the girl somehow, but before she even was close enough to reach out for the girl,she stared death into the lake and jumped into the dark cold water.Kara gasped in shock.She watched how the girl had a small fight with the water, but this water had hands and it pulled the girl down under, it wanted to drown her and the girl seemed to give up already.Somehow Kara exactly knew the thought that went through the bruenettes head in that moment."You havent fighted for her, stop fighting for yourself.Fair is fair."

Kara didnt lose time and as the girls head dissappeared under a lot of dark, black water, Kara jumped into the lake as well.She was a good swimmer,she learned it back on Krypton and she was one of the best swimmers in her class.So the water became a tool in her arms, she was not frightend by that black, cold substance.She was concentrated on the girl,that was slowly drowning right in these seconds.

After some seconds that seemed endless, she reached the place where she last saw the girl.Cold hands made out of water reached out for her, but she slammed them away easily.And finally,FINALLY she grabbed a weak hand and pulled the girl back through the air.

Her eyes were closed and her face was peaceful but Kara couldnt accept that,She took the girl on her back, so that she was on the air  while Kara fighted against some extra weight holding both of them over the water.Her muscles burned but she made it back through the grass,laying the girl down softly,putting her head into Karas lap,controlling if the girl was breathing.

She did, ohh thank rao she was breathing!Kara let out a reliefed sight and the girl started coughing out some water.

But Kara got shaken slowly and opend her eyes, so she couldnt see the girls reaction at all.What the young brunette girl just noticed was a warm yellow shining when she laid on the grass in her dream this time, instead of drowning in the lake.

She exspected the man again, but instead of Kal-El no...Clark was what he said,instead of his friendly smile she woke up in a bed in some sort of room.A young red-head stood over her, watching her sceptical."So you are my new sister huh?My name is Alex Danvers"The girl reached Kara her hand."Well Kara it is here...nice too uhh.. meet you i guess, new sister Alex?"

The Red haired girl smiled at her:"Now come everyone waits for you!"
