"Pound it!" another villain defeated. Chat grabs my waist and pulls me in for a kiss. "You are magical Buggaboo" I blush. "I'll take Nathaniel home, you go get some sleep". And he's gone.
It's 11 pm when I'm back home. I still have a paper to write, which I've barely started, and I also have the presentation for tomorrow. I guess you can't really expect to have too much time, when you're Paris' personal superhero. I sigh and start working on the paper.
I finally finished the presentation and what I can only call a mediocre paper. I practically fall onto my bed, with a final glance at the clock. 03:15. I guess it could've been worse.
I wake up to my phone buzzing right next to my ear. It's Alya. "Hey Marinette, where are you? I'm waiting by the school, but I don't see you". Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no. I look at the clock. 08:35. "Mari?" I get pulled out of my head. "Sorry Alya, gotta go!". "What?""Bye!" I hang up, and hurry into the set of clothes on my chair. I rush down the stairs and grab a croissant on my way out.
