(Asuna's POV)
"Hey Asuna! Happy birthday!" Liz called out. "But I bet someone else beat me to it already." She was still running to me. "Actually Liz you are." I reply sadly.
"What?!" She asked very surprised. "I thought kirito would of beat me to it! He didn't marry you or anything in SAO! Also you are his girl friend he couldn't just forget!" "Your right it would be odd for him to forget..." I said.
'She's right I hadn't seen Kirito all day. Not even a text from him saying happy birthday. Did he really forget?' I wondered.
"Asuna that was the bell I just heard we are going to be late!" Liz shouted. We both ran to class.
(In class)
"Ok students today we are learning...." I zoned out before I heard what we where learning. I had never zoned out before. Really I thought zoning out was a bad thing people do but today I felt I had a right to.
'Where is he? He's not even in class. So unlike him. Maybe he's sick. But knowing him if he was sick he would of told me. Did he just ditch me?'
"Miss Yuuki?" The proffeser called out. Oh great i'm getting in trouble on my birthday. "Y-yes sir?" I asked. Why was I so scared? He's just a teacher. A very nice one in fact. "Please pay attention." Is all he said. But I knew I had to stay after class for that.
Just then the door flew open. The whole class,even our proffeser, looked at the door. Who just interrupted class? When the person walked threw the door I almost jumped for joy because it was Kirito.
Did he just save me from getting in trouble? I think he did even though it was his fault to begin with.
"Mr.Kirigaya your late. Very late. I will be seeing you after class with miss Yuuki."
Kirito looked like he was either going to protest or ask a question I couldn't tell. But before he could open his mouth the proffeser stopped him. "And no buts Mr. Kirigaya." So he sat down and looked at me with a grin. 'Did he not forget?'
