I'm used to talking to other people naman eh, di ko lang alam bakit pinanghihinaan ako ng loob ngayon?

Kumuha ako ng maraming Bacon, my favorite, then Sausage tsaka Scrambled egg. I looked around and study the whole room.

I texted Ate Yan na mag Breakfast na ako then sunod na lang siya, but I got no reply. Baka naliligo na.

I was enjoying my food when a guy came to me.

"I think I know you!" He said with a thick accent. I wiped my mouth and was ready to answer but he speak again. "You are the famous writer from the Philippines, right? I'm Allen, I'm a journalist from India. I'm here to cover Hamper's event. I'm so glad I see you here!"

Talaga kilala niya ako? Ah, baka sa poster.

"Hi, Allen, nice to meet you."

"So how's your sleep so far?" tanong niya. Ah, about my sleep talaga ang tanong mo?

"It's good. Yeah, good. How 'bout you?" I am trying to converse with Him, pero di ako sanay sa ganitong senaryo na impromptu.

"Yeah, it's good too. I really like this Hotel, I like Japan you know. People are great too," he said and I just nodded. "So, I heard that you are going to make the sequel to your book? I mean, it's all over the articles on the internet," he added.

"Uhm, wow, yeah. We are preparing a lot for the sequel," ang nasabi ko while looking back and forth at him and other people around. Waaaah, help me, someone save me, please. To my surprise, para nanamang isang hero na to the rescue si Ian nung naaninag ko ang mukha niya from a far. I waved my hands and luckily he noticed me. He was confused at napakunot ang noo niya kung bakit ko siya kinakawayan, when he finally understood my situation, he shook his head and went to us.

"Di ko alam na friendly ka pala?" He said to me. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay at tinitigan. "So who are you with?" He added.

"I'm Allen, I'm a journalist from India. I am covering the seminar and the meet and greet of Hamper Books. And you are?"

"I'm Ian."

"Really?" Banat niya.

"What?"

"I get that you are kind of famous, but never entertain such guys like him. They are all like Hyenas waiting for their prey. Yes you are a public figure now but also maintain a little privacy. Dahil kung hindi masasanay sila lagi to approach you whenever and wherever you are," sabi niya at mukha naman siyang seryoso.

"Alright, noted Sir Ian," I answered him.

"So ano namang tinanong niya sayo?"

"Mmm, he was starting a conversation pa lang. He opened about sa sequel sa libro ko. Then thank heavens I saw you," I said then went for a bite on my bacon. He nodded and tumayo siya. "T-teka saan ka pupunta?" I panic a little nung tumayo siya, pano kung may pumunta na namang kagaya ni Allen?
